Taylor Lautner Fan Letter To Universal: Your Wolfman Ripped Off Twilight"To whom this may concern: This movie was a complete waste and I feel that it offends ALL Twilight Fans around the world, that including myself. For one, it was a COMPLETE remaking of the Wolf Pack from the Twilight Saga: New Moon. It gives the werewolves a bad name and makes them look like some deformed mutation of a rabid dog. I actually started to like werewolves after seeing Jacob Black and all his awesomeness on the big screen at the movies. That was until I saw your crappy remake of what you call to be a "were wolf". I don't see how you live with yourself for making it the way you did. If I made this movie, I would be ashamed to even admit that I owned it. How can a werewolf be killed with a silver bullet? Better yet, have you saw the transformation of the man that is "supposed" to be the wolf? He sits in some chair and his entire body turns in to some mutated freak. If you would watch the transformation of Jacob Black, (Taylor Lautner) he doesn't come close to looking as fake, cheap and or mutated as the wolf man. You tell me, who looks to be the better werewolf. Your stupid Wolf Movie didn't even make the top Movie for the charts; Valentines Day WITH TAYLOR Lautner! Get that this is MY oppinion and I felt I wanted to express it because I saw that your email was on your site. I wanted to let you know this is what i thought of the wolf man that sucks. FREAKIN LAUTNER DID! " www.latinoreview.com/news/open-letter-to-universal-your-wolfman-ripped-off-twilight-9247

So what? This person probably never heard of the Wolfman. Wolfman originally came out 70+ years ago.
I think this was a really dickish move by the reporter to do this. Not everyone knows everything.

People, IT'S FAKE. This is a stupid comedy gimmick like about half of bad fanfiction is. It serves only to get the writer attention.

Then you do some research before you open your silly mouth to defend an actor you obviously have an unhealthy crush on. Ignorance is not an excuse for stupidity like this

I don't know though, the Wolfman is pretty much common knowledge unless you've never celebrated Halloween. Even if you don't know that the Wolfman is killed by silver bullets and all of the mythology behind it, the legend of people possibly turning into werewolves is so commonplace and prevalent that, unless you were raised Amish or something, there's no reason not to have heard of it at some point in time. That's kinda like saying not knowing who George Washington is because he was President 200+ years ago.

An actual comment: This generation blows. Why? That comment actually makes sense, because the Wolfman isn't a voluntary shapeshifter. Granted, we all Meyer (and most werewolf stuff) derives from Wolfman '41 anyway, but it does kind of invalidate the "logic" of the Wolfman remake stealing stuff from Meyer.

I refuse to believe that this was written by an actual Twilight fan and not just someone trolling. I mean, there's actual grammar used in this letter.

Even if she didn't hear one thing about the original, you'd think that all the other movies about werewolves would be enough.

Imma stoppin her there. The werewolves in Twilight are the most fricking obvious usage of CGI I have ever seen. And It's butt ugly CGI to begin with.

No no no you couldn't be more wrong. Everybody knows that Twilight created vampires, werewolves, actresses who can't act with any emotion whatsoever, and the list goes on and on So you get your facts straight my good sir!

Great, so now the Twilight saga has not only warped what the current youth generation thinks a vampire is/should be, it has also warped their idea of werewolves......
For crying out loud, werewolves were NEVER meant to be sexy! Vampires got away with the seductive/sexy thing because part of the Vampire mythos was the symbolism of Vampirism = sexuality.
Werewolves always have and should always be a symbol of mankind's fear of nature. It is a freaking wolf! One of the greatest enemies to humans in the northern part of the western hemisphere.
They aren't sexy.
And if anything, and this may come as a shock to Twilight fans, Twilight was NOT the first thing to have sexy werewolves. Remember the Underworld films that, all but the prequel, came out before Twilight was a major thing? That had sexy werewolves, but at least they kept a balance between the sexy and the psychotic. Yes the Underworld werewolves were sexy, but they are still clearly blood thirsty killers.
Twilight has changed the mythos of Vampires and Werewolves forever.....and for all the wrong reasons.....
This is why you don't publish fanfiction! Damn it!
