I'll give Will Ferrell one more shot. If "The Other Guys" fails to deliver, I'm done. By all accounts, that movie shouldn't fail. Action-comedy with Mark Wahlberg, Samuel L. Jackson, Dwayne Johnson, Eva Mendes, Ray Stevenson, Steve Coogan, & Rob Riggle. Even Will Ferrell's phoning it in shouldn't drag that movie down, but if it does, I'm done with him.

The rest of the cast should be able to compensate for Farrell, yes. Though I'm going to be provocative (maybe?) here and point out that Samuel L. Jackson belongs on the list of actors who play the same character or just essentially play themselves in every movie. Not that it isn't great...sometimes.

As much as I love Will Ferrel, he really is at his best with a strong supporting cast. I mean, in Anchorman he had Steve Carrel, Paul Rudd, Fred Willard, and several others to play off of.

I like Carell. I do. But he keeps playing the same guy So the Adam Sandler argument? The difference is Carell has shown that he has depth.

I don't get it. At all. It's kind of a small horse, I mean what am I missing? Am I crazy?

Sorry for the double post, but: This. It was also a role that didnt consist of Farrell playing a screaming manchild
