So here we are. We are at the TOP 3! After this show, we get our Top 2, and head into the finale. You've all come so close, to it. Let's see how you all did shall we? This is THE X FACTOR! Results Show and we are LIVE!
This was a very close round. In fact 3 points separated 1st from 2nd and then to third. Going to each of you Individually.
But first... PKS was a bit disappointed with this round, here are his thoughts about it:
Now that we got that out of the way, we go first to... THE BALDY KENDRICK! You've been here before. In your first WC IDOL Competition, Now THE X FACTOR after we moved broadcasting Networks, you made it all the way to the FINALE, where you ended up losing to our original winner in Widow's Peak, now a mentor and judge. Will you be able to reach the Finale again, and this time WIN? Or will your journey come up just short of the Top 2?
Here are your Song Choices along with Judge comments:
Next, also from the House of Pegasus Warrior, is SQUARE! You came into this game strong, and have remained extremely consistent ever since! Your humor and stage presence has also left an impression on the audience and mentors. You originally planned to leave, with this game as your last hurrah, even though you are now back, would this last hurrah be on a high note, advancing you into the finale and perhaps even winning? Let's find out
Here are your Song choices w/ mentor comments:
Last, but not least we have the best of the Dominant Team Widow's Peak... here he is, DEMENTED! You started this game week, but once you got your groove going, and got the feel for this game, you became an immediate DARK HORSE, of the competition. Then once the Finals started, you catapulted yourself into Front Runner status. You are definitely one of the favs of this competiton, never ever being in the bottom two, chopping block. Will this long running streak advance you to the FINALE, or will it end tonight?
Here are your choices, along with mentor comments:
So that was the comments... you three come here to the center of the Stage... Here are your TOP 3 Ladies and Gentlemen!
So will it be a Two Pegasus Final Two, or will it be one from Team Pegasus, vs one from Team Widow's Peak? Well, let's find out... the first person into the FINALE is....
So now is the hard part, someone is going home, after coming soo far. I really never enjoy this part, but just letting you both know, that you have been magnificent, and I really hope you do this again with us.
The 2nd person getting into the FINALE, is....
This was a very close round. In fact 3 points separated 1st from 2nd and then to third. Going to each of you Individually.
But first... PKS was a bit disappointed with this round, here are his thoughts about it:
{Spoiler}The Triple Threat
1st: Paul Revere and The Raiders- Indian Reservation
2nd: Robert Randolph & The Family Band- Thrill of It
3rd: The xx- Islands
4th: Two Door Cinema Club- I Can Talk
5th: Merit- Arson is for Lovers
6th: MrCraigBevan- I Think We've Made It
7th: Pendulum- Propane Nightmares
8th: Scissor Sisters- I Can't Decide
9th: Ben Folds- Rockin' the Suburbs
Thoughts on the Round:
-Not much good coming from the round. To the Top 3- this is the penultimate round of competition. Don't leave me going "WHOOPITY-DOO!" on the songs and wish that I could eliminate more than one of you on the spot.
-That said, the only song I liked in this round was Paul Revere and The Raiders. It reminded me of my childhood when my father would play it on the old record player.
-The next SIX I just don't feel. I put them in (nearly) random order. Someone may get out of this a winner, though everyone should feel like a loser for not trying hard enough.
-If I wanted to listen to Good Old Fashioned Lover Boy by Queen, I would have instead of the Scissor Sister's song. This just feels like a cheap knock-off.
-For Ben Folds: You're TRYING to cut corners by using the singles artist since the band's been already used. At this stage, originality helps more than ever. This was NOT original.
That all being said, to the two finalists: WOW ME. Another round like this, and I'll be sorely disappointed.

{Spoiler}Your Picks were:
Two Door Cinema Club - "I Can Talk"
Ben Folds - "Rockin' The Suburbs"
Robert Randolph & The Family Band - "Thrill Of It"
Your old rival and nemesis, Widow's Peak had this to say:
Two Door Cinema Club - "I Can Talk: Very catchy and interesting background beats. Very catchy and interesting background beats!"
Ben Folds - "Rockin' The Suburbs": A bit funnier during the heyday of rap/rock, but still worth a smile.
Robert Randolph & The Family Band - "Thrill Of It": You needed to pull of something unique here, and you succeeded. Excellent choice!
Stryker Cowell's was really nice to you:
Two Door Cinema Club - "I Can Talk" Very good pick. Enjoyable song with a nice bit of feeling in it and just very appealing.
Ben Folds - "Rockin' The Suburbs" Eh, I'm a bit surprised as I remember this being so much better that it was. It all sounds a bit bland and cheesy now. I'm disappointed I didn't like this pick more.
Robert Randolph & The Family Band - "Thrill Of It" That was ok, but the lyrics sounded like they were being sung to the wrong melody. Great sound and feel, but very disconnected as a result of that problem.
You mentor Pegasus Warrior was severely let down from your choices, unfortunately...
Two Door Cinema Club - "I Can Talk"
Forfeit #1. You don't even give me a chance to give you any credit when you pick artists already used.
Ben Folds - "Rockin' The Suburbs"
Forfeit #2. I feel like a broken record here lately. But then again, it's obvious no one playing the game reads our comments.
Robert Randolph & The Family Band - "Thrill Of It"
Did anyone else think "Hanson" when they listened to this? (ouch...)

Here are your Song choices w/ mentor comments:
{Spoiler}Mr. Craig Bevan - "I Think We've Made It"
Merit - "Arson Is For Lovers"
The xx - "Islands"
Widow's Peak, was less than pleased with 2/3 of your work, but was still pretty nice about it.
Mr. Craig Bevan - "I Think We've Made It": Pleasant, but maybe a bit too smooth.
Merit - "Arson Is For Lovers": Pretty standard chick-rocker.
The xx - "Islands": Trippy, unique sound.
Pegasus Warrior seemed to be more satisfied with you then your team-mate. Even though one choice was lucky due to circumstance:
Mr. Craig Bevan - "I Think We've Made It"
If it weren't for two poor decisions below it, this one would be at the bottom for me.
Merit - "Arson Is For Lovers"
Probably benefiting from the fact that I can't think of any other songs from the band. This one grows on me.
The xx - "Islands"
Had never seen this video, but sure did know the song and band. Excellent risk!
Finally we got fellow UK man Stryker Cowell loving you... except for one choice:
Mr. Craig Bevan - "I Think We've Made It" Nice, sunny and chilled. Good pick.
Merit - "Arson Is For Lovers" Oooh, I really like this. Very nice blend in the music, lyrics and vocal. Impressive.
The xx - "Islands" Not really anything to that. It's more like background music than anything else.

{Spoiler}Paul Revere and The Raiders - "Indian Reservation"
Pendulum - "Propane Nightmares"
Scissor Sisters - "I Can't Decide"
Pegasus Warrior, overall loved your choices:
Paul Revere and The Raiders - "Indian Reservation"
Good song, just didn't quite pack the punch I needed by comparison.
Pendulum - "Propane Nightmares"
This is how you do it in the late rounds. I'm thoroughly impressed by the thought that went into trying to stand out with this one.
Scissor Sisters - "I Can't Decide"
Quirky pick. Combination of "unique" plus "good" add up to big points this round for you.
Stryker Cowell, was the opposite, except for one choice, which he adored:
Paul Revere and The Raiders - "Indian Reservation" Not a good pick at this stage of the competition. Lyrics were horrible and the whole thing felt very...unimpressive.
Pendulum - "Propane Nightmares" Love the way this builds, Great voice too. Top 10 for the competition.
Scissor Sisters - "I Can't Decide" It's off a great album, but that song is a real weak link. Not nearly enough impact or feeling for this stage.
Your Mentor, Widow's Peak had this to say:
Paul Revere and The Raiders - "Indian Reservation": One of those great 8-track classics.
Pendulum - "Propane Nightmares": Its very odd, but I kind of enjoyed it.
Scissor Sisters - "I Can't Decide": Short and snappy
