I really hate the phrase "midcarder for life". It's a very misleading term because... 1. It says that it's bad to be a midcarder. Not everyone can be a main eventer. Some of the best wrestlers in WWE and many Hall of Famers never got to more than midcarders or upper midcarders at best. It should not be the end of the world. If Kofi ends up like that, it doesn't mean his career is a failure. 2. It's a term that makes it seem that the wrestler can NEVER improve or have a chance to get over. Also, remember when Eric Bischoff thought that Steve Austin, Mick Foley, Chris Jericho, Eddie Guerrero, Rey Mysterio....Chris Benoit were "midcarders for life. Vince had them all at one time....and guess who won the Monday Night War. So to me...anyone who has the thought that a wrestler is a "midcarder for life" should NEVER EVER RUN A WRESTLING BUSINESS!!! I'll give you Austin and Foley but Jericho, Rey, Guerrero and Benoit were all upper-midcarders at best who got the world title. They're not main eventers like Hogan, Rock. By your definition of a main eventer, then the "Main Eventer" list must be pretty small. Because just because you are not on the level of Hogan and Rock, that doesn't mean your not a main eventer. Jericho is certainly Main Event, in my book. By saying Jericho isn't a ME, then Shawn Michaels isn't ME.

Glad to see I finally have some company on the Anti-Kofi bandwagon.
It's the old Anti-Cena bandwagon, but we needed a much bigger bandwagon for Cena, so we recycled it.

Why is being a midcarder for life a bad thing? Not everyone is gonna get to main event. Someone needs to job to the main guys. Matt Hardy is pretty much a life long midcarder, and he's had a job for a good 10 years or so now, made good money, been featured every now and then...doesn't seem like a bad deal, really.
