You make it sound like the IWC is some kind of hive mind. I'd be happy with Cena or Sheamus, and right now I'm damn happy with Batista. Yes to all three. I'd be fine with those three guys, and interested in seeing who wins MITB. Do you think the winner will cash in on the RAW title? If so that could dictate who wins in my opinion.

Even if Batista is just in it for the money, I don't fault him for it. The guy's shown quite a few times that he is willing to give and give to help the company (remember how long he put off surgery in 2005?), and when given the right material to work with can be excellent at his job.

Well, the draft will no doubt be soon, so out of the current main event on Raw and Smackdown:
HHH - Always a yes for me.
Cena - I can take or leave him
Batista - Ever since he started taking douchebaggery injections into his eyeballs, yes, yes, a million times yes.
Sheamus - Not yet
Orton - I don't want him on my screen at all
Big Show - If he turned face, yes.
HBK - Tell me a lie, and say he's not retiring on Sunday.
'Taker - Doesn't need the belt to prove he's a dominant force, plus I'm not convinced that we're not seeing a double retirement at Mania.
Jericho - See HHH
Edge - Doesn't need it right now, and it's getting a little boring seeing him constantly chasing/holding the belt. SPEAR!
Punk - Same as HHH and Jericho, but I also feel he doesn't need to hold the belt to be a big part of the show.
Tatanka - Buffalo
Out of the people I want to see in the main event, Christian, Shelton, Morrison, Kofi Johnson, Thwaggah, and Drew McIntyre are all people I want to see with the belt at some point, but I don't think any of them are ready yet. Although I demand that they give Shelton the briefcase, draft him to Raw, and do a frame-for-frame remake of 2004, but with him cashing in at the end of the year and winning.

I empathize on Orton I'm in the same boat as you on Taker and HBK I would also like to see someone move up at some point. I wouldn't complain if Punk had the belt.

Fair enough, though between a very talented guy in it for the money and a guy who is rather meh who's in it for love of the business, give me the greedy one.

I'd like to Regal as champion but I know it's unlikely to ever happen now.

Honestly, small point here, but who says Batista doesn't care about the business? That's a big claim to make. Unless he's had an interview where he flat out said, "I don't care about the business," why would he, among all these other wrestlers, not be THE guy to care about it? He takes his bumps, he's returned from injury, but apparently he just doesn't care. It's a statement that many wrestlers have made that he cares more about his cars, money and picking up women than he does about wrestling. I get the same thing said to me from people who have read his book. Basicly that the only reason he wrestles is to make money and score with the girls. So what? I don't care about the company I work for. I only do it to get paid, too.

um, loving the money you earn at something isn't entirely separate from respecting the business itself.
I know of NO situation where Batista ever showed disrespect to the business or his company. even if it is ONLY his love of money that keeps his respect in line (and I doubt this, and it's a fairly harsh statement to make when none of us actually know) he still respects it.
some folks here being siiiiilllllyyyyy

Daniel Bryan to interfere in Money In the Bank, steal the briefcase, and then challenge both champions and win in the same night.

Daniel Bryan to interfere in Money In the Bank, steal the briefcase, and then challenge both champions and win in the same night. Only if after he wins the titles Miz comes out and announces that, as Bryan is his rookie and thus not a part of the WWE roster, Miz is now the champion.

I don't care about the company I work for. I only do it to get paid, too. Pretty much this. I don't care too much for the company I work for, but I'm effective at my job. Does that mean I shouldn't get a promotion? Daniel Bryan to interfere in Money In the Bank, steal the briefcase, and then challenge both champions and win in the same night. Only if after he wins the titles Miz comes out and announces that, as Bryan is his rookie and thus not a part of the WWE roster, Miz is now the champion. I would mark stupidly hard for this.

Someone in the Raw thread said during the Miz/Morrison match that in roughly three years, that match would be the main event at WrestleMania.
I think that's true, though personally, I wouldn't mind if it was a little sooner than three years.

I'll agree with everyone who said they want a long reign out of heel Batista. Unfortunately, I don't see it happening. Cena's latest superman reign starts Sunday.
