So what? I don't care about the company I work for. I only do it to get paid, too. Our world and the wrestling world are very different. Do you travel 300 days a year and sacrifice you body? Did you dream to have your job and bust your ass only to try to be the best only to have someone who doesn't care come in and get a higher ranking than you? Look at guys like Christian and Matt Hardy who love the wrestling business yet are stuck at the mid card level. Batista could be taking a spot from one of them. Travel 300 days? No. Sacrifice my body? Yes. Dream to have my job? No. Bust my ass to be the best only to have someone who "doesn't care" come in and get a higher ranking? All the time. It happens everywhere.

um, loving the money you earn at something isn't entirely separate from respecting the business itself. I know of NO situation where Batista ever showed disrespect to the business or his company. even if it is ONLY his love of money that keeps his respect in line (and I doubt this, and it's a fairly harsh statement to make when none of us actually know) he still respects it. some folks here being siiiiilllllyyyyy I'll say this for the 900th time There are guys who bust their asses to make it to the big time and love wrestling. They have a passion for the business and being champion means more to them than just a bigger paycheck. You mentioned that Batista was a bodybuilder, some muscle head that lucked into wrestling. You know who else was found in a gym, some muscle head that lucked into wrestling:

As someone who has just finished watching Batista's dvd i would definately say he has a passion for the business. His hobbie and thing he reallly liked to do was bodybuilding. When he went to his ex girlfriend that he cheated on for his future wife he went to a gym that wcw were doing tryouts. The guy in charge told batista he will never be a wrestler so he wanted to become a sports entertainer, the main reason to support his family because he had a wife and 2 children and his childhood was very poor. So he trained with Afa in the samoan training camp than when he was ready afa told vince about him so he went to OVW than to the main roster. When he first started he needed it for the money but he did have a big interest in it and it evolved to a passion. For example when he won the world title at wrestlemania 21 he burst into tears and was crying hugging his wife after the event cause after all his hard work he reached the pinnacle of the business. Would someone who only wanted to get paid be as emotionally invested into his work. Also at the end of the documentary when he had been talking about his injury and how he was excited to return he said he will keep coming back as long as his body can go and as long as the fans wanted to see him. Also talked about how he had to prove himself to everyone when he got drafted to smackdown cause everyone didn't think he deserved his spot.
I'd suggest watching his DVD it's actually really interesting and 60% of it his his personal life and its got some good interviews with him.

On Raw, I'd have liked to have seen Kofi or MVP when they were getting their push; maybe another Big Show run. Christian should be champ soon, imo.
