Out of the guys on the Raw roster that are currently at that level, the IWC in general would be happy with Christian.
Give it a few months/a year and Miz will be there, too. Not quite yet, but soon.

I would mark stupidly hard for this. Made even better by the fact that Miz could potentially end the show carting around five belts if that happened.

I'm happy with Batista at the moment but other than him The Miz would be my preferred title holder.

The saddest thing is that none of the major promotions will cater to the vocal minority that is the IWC.

Honestly, small point here, but who says Batista doesn't care about the business? That's a big claim to make. Unless he's had an interview where he flat out said, "I don't care about the business," why would he, among all these other wrestlers, not be THE guy to care about it? He takes his bumps, he's returned from injury, but apparently he just doesn't care. It's a statement that many wrestlers have made that he cares more about his cars, money and picking up women than he does about wrestling. I get the same thing said to me from people who have read his book. Basicly that the only reason he wrestles is to make money and score with the girls. Kind of sounds like his gimmick don't you think?

I think your best bet is Orton amongst all who are ready. Christian though is the high want I think.

Even if Batista is just in it for the money, I don't fault him for it. The guy's shown quite a few times that he is willing to give and give to help the company (remember how long he put off surgery in 2005?), and when given the right material to work with can be excellent at his job. I'd rather a guy who respects the business have it. That's my opnion though. So your opinion is set because of what other people say? OR say off hand in his book, his DVD makes him out to be a guy trying to make a living, what's wrong with wanting money? A bunch of muscle heads tried to make it in wrestling a lot of them drop out because it's too hard, he stuck with it and is in his spot because he works hard

I want MVP as WWE Champion. But I hope Sheamus gets it back, realistically.

Oh and I'm loving Batista as WWE champ, I really want Mark Henry to win the belt and get a JBL length run.

However the champion is meant to reperesent the company. Shawn Michales, HHH, John Cena, Edge, Randy Orton, CM Punk, Chris Jericho.....these are all guys who WANTED to be wrestlers and appreciate the fact that the title means that the company believes in you. Someone like Batista only appreciates the extra money it brings. Maybe I'm just old school but there used to be a time where it meant something to be champ.

Maybe his off screen persona has become his "gimmick" Nah that would never happen in wrestling.

I don't care about the company I work for. I only do it to get paid, too. Our world and the wrestling world are very different. Do you travel 300 days a year and sacrifice you body? Did you dream to have your job and bust your ass only to try to be the best only to have someone who doesn't care come in and get a higher ranking than you? Look at guys like Christian and Matt Hardy who love the wrestling business yet are stuck at the mid card level. Batista could be taking a spot from one of them.

Thank you for your opinion. Um... is there a problem here? I disagree with Batista holding the title but I value your opinion and you taking the time to read and respond to the thread. So no there is no problem. Just a difference of opinion.

There is only as much difference between being a wrestler and anything else as there is between being a lawyer and working at a cigar factory. The core concept is the same, all that changes is the execution.

um, loving the money you earn at something isn't entirely separate from respecting the business itself. I know of NO situation where Batista ever showed disrespect to the business or his company. even if it is ONLY his love of money that keeps his respect in line (and I doubt this, and it's a fairly harsh statement to make when none of us actually know) he still respects it. some folks here being siiiiilllllyyyyy I'll say this for the 900th time There are guys who bust their asses to make it to the big time and love wrestling. They have a passion for the business and being champion means more to them than just a bigger paycheck.

Popular consensus points to Christian.
I myself would love to see that.
