John Cena: Well we know how much of the IWC feels about him so I won't go into detail.
HHH: Same as Cena.
HBK: Is going to be gone after WM.
Sheamus: Is a nerd and doesn't deserve the title.
Randy Orton: The IWC is split on him but I personaly hate him.
Batista: Doesn't care about the business and doesn't deserve the title.
No one else on the roster is getting a main event push at this time. So who do you people want to see with the belt? It doesn't seem like anyone will please the majority because the majority is too split.

You make it sound like the IWC is some kind of hive mind. I'd be happy with Cena or Sheamus, and right now I'm damn happy with Batista.
Also - I disagree on the thing about no one else getting a main event push. After Mania, I think both Miz and Show are moving up to the main event scene - got one solidified main event heel on the card and that's Batista, with only Jericho, Punk, and Sheamus able to occasionally fill the void, while those two are both way over.

Christian for me. He's over, good on the mic & the ring, plus he should get a shot at the top in WWE in my opinion.

In the future they may get up to the main event yes. But at the time of this writing they aren't there. They could always catch a bad break like MVP and Kofi. It is the WWE. As far as the IWC (I include myself) it seems like there is very middle ground with the guys at the top of the roster. They are either loved or hated and I don't feel like one side weighs the other.

I guess I should clarify.
I just want to see what the majorty on this board thinks. I've been to other boards that are very pro-Orton, pro- Cena and pro-HHH. Here it seems really really split.

Daniel Bryan... What? You knew it was coming. Yeah I should have said besides him. I mean he's the obvious choice.

I want Batista to be the champ... yeah, I said it!
Not because I'm a huge Batista mark or anything. I'm just sick of WWE hot-shotting their titles.
How many times has the WWE/World title changed hands in the last 2 years? Does anyone have reigns with the big titles that last 3 months anymore?

Undertaker had a four month one that was still way, way too long.

I also find myself wondering "why did they even give (insert name) the title just to have him lose it so sooon?"

Honestly, small point here, but who says Batista doesn't care about the business? That's a big claim to make. Unless he's had an interview where he flat out said, "I don't care about the business," why would he, among all these other wrestlers, not be THE guy to care about it? He takes his bumps, he's returned from injury, but apparently he just doesn't care.

It's a statement that many wrestlers have made that he cares more about his cars, money and picking up women than he does about wrestling. I get the same thing said to me from people who have read his book. Basicly that the only reason he wrestles is to make money and score with the girls.

People could easily have said the same thing about Flair, Hogan, the Rock, etc. Here's the thing: it's someone's opinion. They don't know what's truly going on in the man's mind; who's to say what he truly feels about the business? You can't know what someone feels about their livelihood unless they flat out tell you what they feel. It can't be done. Even if he doesn't have any passion for the business, the man has been a draw over the years and has gotten more heat than most people in his situation. I don't think he's the greatest thing ever but it cannot be denied that he creates an impression when he goes out there. It's a very difficult thing to do and he's among the people that does that. He might not have any passion for the business but it makes you wonder why people like Flair, Triple H, Vince, and others had enough confidence to help him along and guide his career then. Did he fool them with his lack of love for the business? Why did they make the effort to help him if he's just in it for the money?

Did he fool them with his lack of love for the business? Why did they make the effort to help him if he's just in it for the money? because people like flair , hhh and vince saw potentioal in him to make money. I haven't read his book myself so I only know what I have been told by people. It's just a commone feeling people seem to get when reading his book. He wrote his book so he knows what is going on in his own mind. To me that makes it believable when people backstage say he is in it for the money. The Rock actually has said that he used his wrestling career to branch out into other areas. I think it was on David Letterman when he said he was no longer going by Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson. That's why John Cena has bashed him for being a fake and a liar. As much as I hate Flair I believe he really did have a passion for the business. I feel like he is only in it for the paycheck now. The same thing with Hogan. They both grew up wanting to wrestle. Dave was just some guy that was found at a bodybuilding competition. He saw the potential to make money and jumped at it.
