To be more specific, this thread isn't for the "chairshot heard 'round the world" or Raven crucifying Sandman, but rather lesser things that made you love ECW just a little more. My example:
Every ECW fan knows "the Shah" Hack Myers and the crowd's routine of chanting "Shah!" with every offensive maneuver and "S***!" when Myers' opponent would get one in on him.
I'm sure it happened more than once, but on an old Hardcore TV, Myers teamed with Axl Rotten & Balls Mahoney against Buh Buh Ray, D-Von and the late Big Dick Dudley. At one point, Shah, Axl & Balls were working over one of the Dudleys (probably Buh Buh, but not sure) at the same time and the crowd took turns chanting each's name as they punched said Dudley.
"SHAH!" "AXL!" "BALLS!" "SHAH!" "AXL!" "BALLS!" "WhooooooaaaAAAAAA! (Everyone shouted a different name)!"
Awesome. The ECW crowd was always the most responsive of any wrestling crowd I've ever seen (stupid WHAT?" chants aside).
Anyone else have anything to add?

Adding on to the crowd's awesome traits, I loved it when they would count to ten in Spanish during Super Crazy's punches in the corner.

When someone was on the mic that the fans didn't like
SHUT THE F*** UP clap, clap, clap, clap, SHUT THE F*** UP
And sometimes when the crowd's favorite was taking on the person they hated.
F*** EM UP "insert wrestler name here" F*** EM UP
;D

I remember a match in 1996 where Franchise was in a mixed tag of some sort, and for some reason while was on the apron, he turned around and it looked like he quickly pulled the front of his trunks down. The crowd chanted "little dick, little dick" at him. So good.
There was also one of the pulp fiction ending with Stevie talking Dances with Dudleys into paying him to let Buh Buh teach the Meanie how to dance.
I was also a huge fan of JT Smith's italian shtick.

Style's commentary. Awesome.
Imagine watching a show where the commentator uses the name of the moves in the ring.

At live shows when someone would sweep the ring or wipe down the ring ropes and get cheered.

That was a great Pulp promo...I loved Buh Buh & Meanie doing the mirror image thing, then Buh Buh threatens to hit him. "Ahhh know...you're just a c-c-coward!" JT was great in that role, but there was a nice Tracey Smothers/Tommy Rich ending to a Pulp Promo with Joey Styles where they give him a piece of paper to read with "Wassamatta you?" and they'd yell "Hey!" after each line, ending with "Its'-a nice-a place"..."AHHH SHUT UP YA FACE!" and they hug him. Joey had the best disgusted face ever.

Personal favourite, when Dreamer went to piledrive Francine, and Joey's famous line "Did I just see what I think I saw?"

When Shane Douglas came back from the WWF the crowd started chanting names of people he had lost to:
"Ahmed Johnson! Ahmed Johnson!"
"Raaaaaaazor! Raaaaazor!"
I think the same thing happened to a tag team, don't remember which but they kept chanting "Smoking Guns" at them.

When Stevie dressed up as Baron Von Stevie and applied the Iron Claw to Joey Styles...and Joey just nonchalantly knocked Stevie's hand off his head and left the ring...leaving Stevie staring at his hand, puzzled.
I also to this day love the angle they ran when Sandman won the belt for the first time....and EVERYONE in the company was pissed off that a drunken bum had their top title. They sort of rehashed this when RVD went on Raw in 1997.
