It's better on soooooo many levels. At least that stuff is interesting vs Cena making things so unbelievable. Having Ric Flair fighting someone is unbelievable. At least he can be beat (see Jay Lethal). Cena is a freaking disease to the sport and garbage like this tonight really makes me question why I still give WWE a chance.

I call Cena will go heel at Survivor Series.
I marked for the Taker-in-a-casket even though it was so unbelivable. I marked for Show's double pin. I marked for the obvious.
Divas match and Supercena withstanding, I wasn't disappointed.

Nexus has done nothing but beat down everyone and get the upperhand constantly. If they didn't get any comeuppance tonight the angle would lose all its heat and people would get bored....look at the nWo. Now they can find a way to come back with their secret higher power and the RAW GM.

You guys need to calm down, come on. This is not the end of Nexus, only the beginning.
The only things that people can complain about tonight are as follows:
Stc's Official Complain Rankings for SummerSlam 2010:
1# Micheal Cole's crush on the Miz 2# The first match 3# The second match 4# The third match 5# The entire pay per view except for Ultimerica Dragon returning and 99% of the last match
Seriously, Nexus ain't worried 'bout shit. They're still going to split some wigs and even better, I think the first match set up for a Smackdown angle.

But why have it happen in their first big match? That's just a result of this crappy WWE booking that has led their buyrates and ratings into the gutter. The antagonists are rookies who together had strength, but cleanly and decisively lost. There's no conflict anymore.

Ok, let's not argue about whose Wrestling Corner we should be in, in this thread.

Nexus dominated most Mondays and people are worried because they had one loss at a PPV? I'm glad people weren't this jaded back in the NWO days, then we'd have a million complaints about how the WCW constantly "looked weak" vs. the NWO.

He ruins the sport that i've loved for years and he makes me question why I still give the crap that is WWE a chance.

The last 2 matches totally saved this PPV. Before that, it was a disgrace to call SummerSlam 2010 a "Big 4" PPV.

No one is saying the ending made the whole match suck, just the ending sucked. Quit exaggerating. There are a bunch of posts a few pages back saying "THIS ENDING RUINED THE MATCH." "THAT MATCH SUCKED. I QUIT!" A bunch? Really? Because I just thoroughly checked, and only ONE person said the ending ruined the match. Now that's something anyone could have easily missed since an event like that usually spikes these threads about 2 pages ahead, so yeah, I was kinda wrong. Everyone else was s***ting all over the ending, saying "Nexus is buried", "F*** WWE/this company" and "This angle is ruined", but nothing about the match being ruined (just that one guy), hell most people were praising the match. So quote the ONE person next time instead of making it sound the majority of the board said it.

Does anyone else think it's frickin' stupid to have Sheamus/Orton face off on two big PPV shows and have both matches end in a crappy DQ? My biggest problem with it was that of all the perfect times to cash in, Miz doesn't. Miz assumed he'd be the seventh man and maybe thought Nexus would screw it up if he cashed it in?

Casual fan doesn't measure in the terms of how close a match was, they use wins and loses. Besides, Mizterference, 2-on-1, DDT on the concrete and they still lost? Come on! That just makes them look even worse.

He's now "Joseph" Mercury?
Did they call him that on SD the last few weeks?

Again, the NWO was made up of established names who'd spent years on top of the business. Nexus are rookies who Cole still has to identify by name when they come to the ring. Hardly the same.

And it only led to the demise of the company because they didn't know when to quit with it.
