Sheamus kneeing Dragon in the head repeatedly made him look like a beast. I would have liked to have seen them have Dragon come out and knock him out of the Battle Royal, thus setting up a feud between the two. Sadly, I don't think anything will come of this.

Also, if you think DBD doesn't come back out and make Sheamus tap this monday, you're seein' stars. I really can't see that happening. I guess I'm star gazin too.

I think people need to accept that unless he gets VERY over, this is going to be Bryan's main use in WWE. He's a smallish babyface who comes across as an everyman/underdog. His main position is going to be to get the shit beaten out of him by heels, because he's a sympathetic, relatable character and this will make the audiences even more pissed off at the heels doing the beatdowns. It's the way Bourne's booked. It's the way Kaval's being booked, and that's only likely to change if they turn him heel. Hell, it's the way Jeff Hardy and Mysterio were booked for years until they got themselves over as such appealing draws that WWE started moving them up the card. And then they wonder why they can't make any new stars. Yeah, doesn't it suck when those crusty old veterans like Sheamus keep holding new talent down?

It was a stupid match on one of the stupidest shows this year. Thanks for trolling. I'm not trolling. There wasn't ONE good match last night and an abundance of really crappy skits. It was awful.

I'd like to see a rematch next week. Sheamus charges, Bryan dropkicks the knee Sheamus used in the kneedrops, hooks in a heelhook and holds it even as Sheamus desperately goes for the ropes until he's DQ'ed

Bryan looked like a victim, which isn't exactly a position of strength, even if Sheamus fought dirty to put him there.

Imagine if Barrett had done that to Cena. Cena GETS the ropes, but Barrett doesn't stop at the five count. Barrett would be disqualified and Cena wouldn't get up either, people. DBD didn't look bad, ANYONE in his position would look exactly the same.

I'm not trolling. There wasn't ONE good match last night and an abundance of really crappy skits. It was awful. This is Monday Night Raw. Maybe the John Morrison/Jericho matches have made you think there would be at least one good match on every show, but if you want wrestling, go to Smackdown for that. This Raw was to build feuds and that was what it did.

It was a stupid match on one of the stupidest shows this year. Thanks for trolling. Yep. not liking commercial filled mess of a show that focused way too much on one angle is trolling. Seriously, the show was really poor last night, and this segment did not help.

Just because the internet darling got beat down doesn't make this the end of the world. Bourne gets beaten down regularly, as does Henry, Goldust, etc.
Personally, I am glad Bryan got squashed. I look forward to it happening a whole lot more.

I would love to see a Bryan-Sheamus US Title feud if I didn't think Bryan would get squashed. Not because I think WWE has some kind of conspiracy going on against Bryan, but because I believe they feel they need to keep Sheamus strong for when HHH returns. Although, to be fair, with each passing month I forget more and more about HHH. Might as well just sit him out until Mania season to really make Sheamus's attack seem effective (not that it doesn't already). Unless, of course, HHH is the leader of Nexus and/or the GM. In which case, they need to get on with those mysteries already.

What I saw is that Sheamus is just better than Daniel Bryan. I mean he just beat him up with out even trying that hard. I have no idea how that can make Daniel Bryan look strong. What is said to me is that compared to Sheamus Daniel Bryan might as well be Zach Ryder. Bingo. Nothing about that match was positive for bryan.

I'm not sure how Bryan's inability to defend himself 10 seconds into a match against a guy who had been on the losing end of Hell in a Cell the night before made him look strong.

Bryan will be fine. He still has a title and WWE wouldn't have brought him back/do the release storyline if they didn't have plans for him.

I mostly agree with OP. I didn't have any problem at all with the Sheamus/Bryan match. Bryan got the victory via DQ. These things happen.
