To me it doesn't matter, there's more good bands with supposedly 'bad' singers than there are good bands with so called 'good singers'.

Surely, someone who doesn't know better would put Björk into that category. She's an acquired taste in general, so I can understand people not liking her voice.

Lenny Kravitz- great music and look but sometimes he sounds a bit off Prince- great musician, dodgy singer Rod Stewart- apparently he was laughed at in his first recording session. I like his distinct sound- in small dosages.
