New full game. Takes place a few years after the events of Fallout 3, but I believe is a completely unrelated story.

Doesn't the game have different developers? Also, I read on IGN that they weren't getting a copy of the game until the day of the release, so they'd be reviewing the game late. Doesn't seem like a good sign. Yeah it's made by the guys who made fall out 1 and 2. Also Jim Sterling from destructoid has a copy of it, giant bomb has a copy of it, a bunch of smaller sites have a copy of it. I don't know why IGN doesn't have a copy unless they're saying that they can't post a review until the release date.

It's this a brand new game or is an expansion? It's technically a new game, but for all intents and purposes, it is just Fallout 3 set in Las Vegas. It also isn't made by Bethesda this time. It is made by Obsidian. Granted, Obsidian doesn't make BAD games, but aside from Alpha Protocol(which actually WAS a bad game), all of Obsidian's games have been sequels in series, meaning all the hard work has almost always been done for them. They just make games using the tools used to make other games. Their other games to date, besides New Vegas and Alpha Protocol are: - Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords - Neverwinter Nights 2 They are also making Dungeon Siege 3. So, while Obsidian can make competent games, they have yet to make a great game, at best they can make a good game, and only then, if that game is in an established series already and they get to leech the same tools and materials used to make those previous games. As you can tell....I'm not really hyped for this game. It'll be good, make no mistake, it just won't be, "rush out and get it on launch day" good. I'll get it when it drops to $30.

^ How DARE you, sir! Alpha Protocol kicks ass. I think NV is kinda getting lost in the shuffle with all the other big games out there. I'm definitely looking forward to it.

This might be old news if youve been following the creation of the game but saw a video on yahoo today that voices will be done by Matthew Perry, Wayne Newton, Kris Krisstoferson, William Sadler and of course Ron Perelman.

I remember seeing lots of Fallout 3 commercials when it came out. But maybe it's a Canadian thing or I haven't watched TV in a long time. Fallout 3 had a good number of commercials, yeah. I had no idea New Vegas was coming out so soon.

I'm going to the midnight launch. But I'll be picking up EA MMA. Not Fallout. The Game store guy said that there will be about 50 people at launch.

If I had the money, I'd be so getting this. And I've seen plenty of hype via the Internet, so I don't think it really needs much advertising beyond word of mouth.

I've pre-ordered the collectors edition Fallout 3 is one of my all time favourite games so I can't wait for this. There was just so much to do and so much to explore in Fallout 3, I spent ages playing the game and even then I don't think I really managed to discover everything the game had to offer.

Wait, the same people that made KOTOR 2 made this? Be prepared for an incomprehensible mess of a plot that doesn't make any sense because they cut half the exposition.

Just played the game and I have never played a Fallout Game, but I do not like the graphics. I need very good graphics in a game or I don´t enjoy it. Thats just the way I am. So I won´t be getting this game, but I can understand why people like this because the gameplay is great. But for me Graphics is a huge factor.

I think there are just way too many big damn games coming out within the next month.
- Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II - Assassin's Creed Brotherhood - Rock Band 3 - SmackDown vs. RAW 2011 - Fable 3
And four of those five come out on the same freaking day.

Well if they were calling it Fallout 4 then it would be a different story. I didn't even know that it's a different developer. Besides, all the previews, interviews I've heard is that it's just...new settings, new guns, new story. That's DLC, not Fallout 4 so I can understand why there is a lack of hype.

It's this a brand new game or is an expansion? Brand new game, taking place out of Vegas. The funny thing is, according to the game lore, Vegas was not as badly hit as the rest of the country during the War, so a lot of the structures are still standing and flourishing.
