Are there more options to character creation? One of the things that Fallout 3 lacked was that there wasn't much options for customising your characters appearence

everything that I've been reading about new vegas is that it's better than fallout 3... except it has more bugs.

Yeah you've only been aware of it since Fallout 3 came out. Its more than acceptable to release new vegas with the same fault

The weirdest thing for me is that the devs don't seem that bothered about the bugs. Sure you get the odd patch here and there but the game still runs like crap.
From what I've heard about the PS3 GOTY edition of Fallout 3, it's damn near unplayable.
I wonder if those involved get embarassed when they see videos and read reports of bugs. Gametrailers review showed them getting stuck in a room and having to load a save game up.

Personally, I thought Fallout 3 was boring. So I've got zero interest in New Vegas *shrug*

Urgh. . .I hate when developers rush out games that are buggy.
If a few patches fix the bug then why not delay the release and fix the bug? It's sorta unfair on folks who ain't got internet on their PS3 and so can't download the patches that fix them.
Luckily I ain't got that problem but I'd be mighty pissed off if I did.
To be fair though, I didn't experiance any bugs in Fallout 3.

I think the majority of fans would be perfectly alright if Bethesda came out and said "hey, we have a few small kinks to work out so we're gonna delay it for a week." I know I'd be happy if a dev came out and said that. I'll prolly end up renting it and give it a try.

The flip side, you have GT 5 that keeps getting delayed and people are cmplaining about it. Now granted, they've waited what...5 years? But still, the developers want to come out with the perfect game, hopefully glitch free, etc. What's wrong with taking your time?

Wasnt that supposed to be a launch title for PS3?

/\ no, that was GTA4.
I like New Vegas so far. it does feel a bit samey but that's not a bad thing. I've noticed a couple skips here and there, but no major bugs of any kind myself. and I love the music, once again.

I pre-ordered at Gamestop, because I was going to be getting it anyway, but what makes me laugh is that the bonus includes 5 stimpaks.
You fire up the game and can pick up about that many before you leave the first house you are in!

Got the Collector's Edition yesterday and I'm loving the game so far. I haven't seen any glitches yet. The Fallout 3 GOTY played fine on my PS3 - a minor glitch here and there.
I love the music in New Vegas. Absolutely amazing stuff.

It was hit or miss for me with the DLC. Some playthroughs would work fine, others would be AWFUL and nearly unplayable.
Clearing the system cache helped, but also cleared the DLC I think.

Weirdly point lookout played perfectly for me Mothership Zeta & Operation Anchorage however........... I find it weird that from what I can tell the glitches are very random As for NV, apparently its just as bad so think I'll wait see if they release a patch Failing that I'll pick it up cheap

Did they f*** up the kill cam? I don't remember getting a cinematic cut away after EVERY SINGLE KILL.
The enemies also LOVE TO RUN AWAY.
