Find some Nightkin or check REPCONN HQ. I found loads there. I have killed a few Nightkin but no SBs were to be found. I'll have to check REPCONN. I want my SBs so I can put grenades into people's pockets. Thanks for the heads up.

Maybe we could get this changed to a general Q&A.
How do I recruit Cass to follow me? I'm trying to get her back to the Van Burens' place.

How do I recruit Cass to follow me? I'm trying to get her back to the Van Burens' place. Van Graffs. And how dare you even consider taking the nice lady there to be killed by that bunch of no-good crooks, you horrible man!? (at one point I took her to the Silver Rush and then attempted to kill the Van Graffs and their cronies for wanting to harm my Whiskey Rose, unfortunately they had pretty big guns so I reloaded my save and left that part for later. Speaking of which, I like the fact that you can't just waltz into a gang's base and kill everybody unless your level is high enough and you're well equipped for the task) Anyway, do the "Heartache by the Number" quest. After you speak to the Crimson Caravan boss, she tells you to convince Cass to sell her business to her. Once you do, Cass will follow you.

I def don't want her to end up dead. She seems nice enough. I reckon I'll have to lay waste to their operation. Maybe some plastic explosives will do the job.

I'm sure I'll have plenty of other questions as well. Loving the game so far. Is it me...or does it seem quite harder than Fallout 3?

I don't know why I was thinking Van Buren. fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Van_Buren;D Well, since New Vegas uses elements of the Van Buren project, I'd say it's pretty appropriate for this thread.

It was for me at first, yeah. But after leveling up, it got to be just as easy as FO3 was...to the point in which I just stopped using VATS all together...and is it just me, or is there a HUGE amount of stimpaks to be found? I have about 50 hours on one character, am right before the start of the Dam battle, and I have in my inventory about 150 stimpaks...and I use just upgraded Leather Armor.

New Vegas can be more difficult than 3 early on because enemies don't scale to your level any more.
As for the stimpaks, yeah, you can find quite a lot of those. I rarely even use them any more, though, as Sunset Sarsaparilla does the same thing and is even more plentiful.

Anyone else really get the urge to track down and try some Sarsaparilla Cola after playing this game for awhile?

Anyone else really get the urge to track down and try some Sarsaparilla Cola after playing this game for awhile? Possibly. What I end up doing is every time i see the word "Sarsaparilla" I end up saying it aloud like Sam Elliot from the Big Lewbowski.

I'm screwed with the "Bye Bye Love" Quest. Every time I go back to Vault 21, Carlitos is nowhere to be found even though the marker starts flashing like mad. According the marker, he must have been killed and stuffed into the Nuka-Cola machine. I also got locked out of the Strip. I had to go and take the monorail back into the city to reopen it. There have been a few other bugs: the game crashes on me completely (restarts the PS3), it freezes from time to time and I've seen people "sitting" about a foot away from chairs and sleeping in the air. Despite all this I am having a blast with this game. I am an enemy of the Legion now and I'm considering stabbing House in the back (after getting all the snowglobes of course).

I did see just about the coolest thing ever last night when I was playing. In Freeside, there were some kids chasing a large rat, so I shot it. They all said "Thanks Mister!" and then started eating its carcass.

I bet it tasted like Big K cola. I'm not familiar with Big K Cola, probably because I'm not from the US, but I assume it's some sort of a generic cola that tastes like mouthwash. And yeah, I'm sure the drinkable Nuka-Cola would taste like something like that (and, knowing the quality of some of the cheaper soft drink brands, just might be mildly radioactive as well), but at least I'd be able to say that I drank a bottle of Nuka-Cola.
