Not like he will Roseanne Barr it. No he won't, but facts are facts: his demo is pre-teen girls and the wrestling demographic now seems to be pre-teen BOYS. That's a huge difference, and a one that this audience will not take kindly to. Well, it wouldn't be like the recent WM anthem-singers haven't been woefully inappropriate to that demographic. Aretha Ashanti John Legend Fantasia They've always been leaning more in the direction of pop music anyhow. They're better choices than some other recent live performers that WOULD appeal to guys, like Limp Bizkit, Kid Rock, Saliva and Motorhead.

Why is it I get to go to Wrestlemania AND THIS HAPPENS??? Took the words right off of my keyboard. Not exactly the news I wanted to hear for my first live 'Mania. Although I am curious as to what the crowd's reaction would be. But hey, look at the bright side: It'll give people extra time to get their snacks in order, or in my case, pick up some food and/or souvenirs at the Georgia Dome.

Let me break it down this way: Aretha: Nostalgia is loved by all audiences, and no matter if the subject is as old as dust, they are always welcome. Ashanti: Hot chick, men love hot chicks, dead or alive! John Legend: Sings well, though not ideal and not really gimmicky. Fantasia: Less said the better I'll admit. As for me, I'd love to see some Gaga, John Mellencamp, AC/DC, and even Bruce Springsteen. My point is: Bieber is VERY inappropriate, and when I think of Wrestlemania, i don't think of a guy who will be very much flash-in-the-pan.

I can see how Justin Beiber compared to Lady Gaga would make sense being this is PG. I am more of a Gaga fan; "Bad Romance" is awesome.

I'm just waiting for someone to say they refuse to order Wrestlemania just because of this kid? I'm not a fan of his, but I couldn't care less if he's there. He'd basically be there to sing a two-minute song at the very beginning of the show. After that, we'd have nearly four hours of wrestling entertainment.
As long as he doesn't butcher the song, then no harm, no foul.

Good for him. It puts him along side Aretha Franklin and Ray Chrales, puts him in front of a ton of peple, and he'll get paid. I don't mind Justin Beiber. There is only two things I don't like about him: 1) He never set out to be a singer. I think he said he wanted to play Hockey when he grows up. 2) He only appeals to young teenage girls. All I want is a little edgier (not Miley Cyrus "Can't Be Tamed" edgier)song to shut all the 30-yr old haters on the internet up. So if he will, good for him. If he doesn't, we'll find someone else. The fact that this would put him in the same sentence as Ray Charles or Aretha Franklin would be the single biggest insult either of those performers could ever receive.

I know, the thought of Justin Beiber among such musical greats as Rockin' Robin.

Isn't it strange that a Canadian would be singing America the Beautiful?
I don't have a problem with it, i skip that 'YAY! America!' crap every year anyway lol

He would only be singing the national anthem, is that really worth crying foul over and blowing things out of proportion? I'm from Europe and I don't care but even I know that America The Beautiful is not the National Anthem... Okay, about Justin Bieber: Now if they had Nexus gather around the ring while he sings until he cries and runs away, that would be a WM moment comparable to Hulk slamming Andre. Fun fact: Even my 11-year-old niece laughs about Bieber.

I just don't like him because he's just another commercialised singer...just like all the rest. There is nothing unique about him in any way, shape or form. But contrary to my earlier comment, I probably won't even care or notice. I don't pay attention to that song every WM, and I don't feel the US Patriotic vibe anyway. I watch WM to see the matches, so I really couldn't care less.
