They still have sponsors who wouldn't want to see "Attitude" back, and honestly, I don't want to see "Attitude" back if it means the return of screen time being wasted by the Divas acting like strippers.
I think they'll stop with the stopping matches when someone bleeds hardway, but I don't really want blading back.

Things will stay the same for as long as she's running for re-election if she wins. So basically until she loses... don't a more adult subject matter.
But I wouldn't be surprised if she won to see the DoJ or State of Connecticut launch an investigation into the independent contractor issue.. and if it takes a McMahon getting elected to the Senate, something that scares me to death, I will be glad to see it happen.

Again, if there is a loss of PG, I don't know if I can take any more bra and panties matches. I mean, that twister garbage is enough, we don't need anymore of it.
Pro wrestling has always been PG, it's just some ridiculous, over the top angles at times that makes it Tv 14 like Necrophilia, or wanting to rape somebody by having bestiality sex with them. Why can't there be that middle ground. Blood sometimes, to add to the match, but nothing incredibly ridiculous.

I love how some (not most, but some) seem to think it's either Attitude Era or PG, and that there's NOTHING in between.
I don't think that many people are really saying we should go back to Attitude Era levels, but saying 'shut the front door' and 'JBL is poopy' instead of *gasp* using a dirty word is offensive and insults my intelligence.

Stop pretending it's a high-end Shakespeare production. When I was 8 years old, this company brought me a man having his arm chewed to pieces by a cobra, the perpetrator later slapping a woman and almost nailing her with a steel chair. Another sending his partner through a plate glass window. Not to mention a case of attempted murder and a Wrestlemania main event based around doctored photos and accusations of infidelity

You can create memorable, lasting angles and storylines without the need for excessive violence and barely clad women in suggestive matches/poses.

The biggest change I see happening to WWE programming if things don't go like the parties involved hope is there'll be a big shakeup of the roster. I see a massive talent cull coming in the weeks following the result, with guys who're treading water like MVP, Primo and so on being released and replaced with cheaper talent being brought up from developmental.

Per CNN.
Well that's that.

She Lost. Per CNN. Well that's that. Well, one hopes that's that. Knowing Vince and his compulsion to fill WWE TV with his pettiness, he's likely to make that Stan Kronke business look like quality TV

I haven't followed her campaign in the least, but whomever she lost to can look forward to being mercilessly mocked in a hilarious skit that 99.99999999% of the audience won't even understand.

THIS x1000 A WWE almost entirely made off FCW talent is only 5 years away, tops. Inexpensive talent with no non-WWE history to carry or so little, built in the mold of the sports-entertainer? Say goodbye to 5 star matches and hello to the bliss of every match being the same old shit.

Well, I rarely watch these days, but I do wish they wouldn't be SO PG. Don't need to be swearing or sexy all the time, but blood is a part of the game at this point, as is pushing the limits in some matches like HITC and ladder matches.
There you have it.

I'd rather suffer through PG than suffer through the worst of the Attitude Era any day. There was a lot of great stuff during the Attitude Era, don't get me wrong...nobody can deny how popular and influential it was...
It was still a total embarrassment, though.
PG is embarrassing in some ways, but at least it's something you feel OK watching with your family. Despite their claims otherwise, children were still a major demographic for the WWF during the Attitude Era and it really wasn't appropriate for them.
The best angles of the Attitude Era could have worked fine in a PG environment.

I know Mark Henry is hoping they stay PG.
I agree, for the most part the Attitude era was an embarrassment.

Remember when Vince went crazy after after losing to Trump, getting his head shaved, and going after Lashley for the ECW Title. Something like that.

It'd be funny if they did some kind of delusion angle where Vince refused to accept that Linda lost, and goes on and on about making all kinds of changes now that he's the husband of a Senator.
