Though I am still looking forward to the movie- after Inception, I've got faith in Nolan. Change this to "after Memento, Insomnia, Batman Begins, The Prestige, The Dark Knight and Inception" and you have my feelings about Nolan as a director.

I don't particularly like the name..but I'm at loss for a better one myself. "Guess Who's Coming to Dinner? BATMAN" "Run Silent, Run Batman" "7 Days of The Batman" "CasaBatca: "Citizen Wayne" "Saving Private Batman" "Batman in Love" "Batman's Day Off" "X-Men Origins: Batman" "There's Something About Batman" "Dial B For Batman" "The 40 Year Old Batman" "The Batman Wore Prada" "Chitty Chitty Batman" "How To Train Your Batman" "The Batman Saga: Breaking Jaws" "For Caped Crusaders Who Have Considered Detective Work When The Bat-Signal Is Enuf"

With The Joker, Two Face and Riddler all out of the picture Id say The Penguin's chances of being in this film just went up. Personally Id like to see Black Mask as the villian but doubt that would happen

Pretty glad about this news. First off, the title's great. Second, Riddler just seemed too obvious, Nolan was always going to go somewhere a little left-field with the new movie. Even Penguin seems unlikely to me.

Awesome title for a sure-to-be outstanding movie. The old cast will be back and I'm sure that Scarecrow will have a cameo like last time (like in a RPG game, Scarecrow was too powerful for Batman early on but the more Batman developed his skills, the easier Scarecrow became to defeat). No Riddler, Joker, Penguin (was outed a couple of time ago) and Catwoman isn't a given. So, I see Black Mask, Deathstrike (as the hired gun of Black Mask) and Catwoman OR Talia Al Ghul. .....AND THE SCOUT MASTER "Don't be afraid to use your nails, boys!" Bu Deathstrike do you mean Deathstroke? If you do, he isn't a Bat rogue as such, so I doubt we'll see him, although he does have links to Talia and the League of Assassins, so it's possible. Deadshot would perhaps be more likely as he was originally a Batman rogue. You are right, however, in that Nolan has publically said No Penguin, but he's also said No Catwoman. As such, from my suggestions about, I swap Penguin for Black Mask. Yes. I meant Deathstroke, sorry I always confuse his name between those names and Deadshot. But he could be Black Mask's hired hitman with his added eccentricities and compulsion about killings. Also, you're right about the Catwoman mention but I believe she might be the most widely known Rogue with the most chance at this point. Finally, I forgot to mention the possiblity of a female character besides Talia Al Ghul: Vicki Vale.

I'm not going to bitch about the title too much, but The Dark Knight Triumphant would have been cool.
The movie itself is all that matters.

Change this to "after Memento, Insomnia, Batman Begins, The Prestige, The Dark Knight and Inception" and you have my feelings about Nolan as a director. Absolutely. The hottest property in the entire industry with the hottest franchise and every writer and actor on earth dying to be cast by him. It's harder to make this film fail and given Nolan and his unquestionably exemplary record I don't doubt that it will be excellent. There's lots of villains to call on, just redefine and refit the character to suit what he wants, there are no rules and given the hate pegged towards Ledger cast as Joker for the love of god... Do. Not. Listen. To. The. Fanbase, they will all go anyway. They do not know what is best, like Trekkers panning Abrams before the release and it's far and away the best thing to ever come out of the franchise name.

-Batman is apparently a fugitive. As intriguing as "Who'll be the villain for the 3rd Nolan Batmaan movie?" is. I found this to be the most interesting part at the end of The Dark Knight.

-Batman is apparently a fugitive. so the villain has to be Aaron Cash, the man with one arm hand. (Thank you Batman Wiki for that joke)

Im going to go on a limb and say either Mad Hatter or Calender Man will be the new villain. Both are realistic enough for Nolan's view.

The title will be very appropriate if the villain is Catwoman.

The title will be very appropriate if the villain is Catwoman. Or possibly Harley Quinn.

I have a confession....I have yet to see either of his Batman Films. With that said,if he wants a realistic villain,or at least as realistic as you can get when your main character is a rich guy dressed as a bat fighting crime, you cant get any realer then.... Professor Pyg. Or Egghead.

/facepalm, why no riddler? It can easily be done with a dark undertone, instead we get a rehash of the first two movies minus any of the characters that made them interesting....oh joy

Since a lot of people seemed to miss this back in the summer... "Well, speculation about this subject can now end, because Nolan told Empire quite clearly that no, The Joker will not be returning for Batman 3. No reason was given, other than Nolan’s own explanation that, “ I just don’t feel comfortable talking about it.” I can imagine. Poor guy.

I think Clayface could be really done right by Nolan.
