as you may or may not not there is supposed to be just a ton of fall over the next few days in the Mid West
it's already started in my neck of the woods, and I'm going to have to use my snow blower before I go to bed

We have been getting it on and off all day. I am kind of hoping it does hit. I like a good blizzard, and I wont have to make up a reason to not work.

They already canceled classes here, despite the fact that nothing is falling yet. Can't be as bad as Christmas last year was.

We're supposed to get some good snow fall on Wednesday. We already had a record one-day snowfall earlier this year, 25 inches or so on the 8th. It's the type of winter I wish had happened when I was still in school.

My parents live in Escabana and they don't get as much snow as Madison most of the time because of the topography of Bay de Noc.

Currently in Toledo, we've got about .5" down so far, and the wind is blowing. Expected totals are 6" of snow and a whole lot of freezing rain and sleet. It's going to be messy, and I wonder if there will be school tomorrow.
(note: The University of Toledo has been exactly 3 times since January 2000: 9/11, a storm in February of '07, and another storm from February of last year)

About 9 degrees where I am right now, not a ton of snow at the moment, but it's only supposed to get colder. Can't Winter be over and done with already? I miss the heat

Hasn't started snowing yet here, but there's been a fair bit of freezing rain and everything outside is basically frozen.
We're supposed to get six inches to a foot here, which is a relatively large amount for the region (central IN).

Bout bloody time.
