This list was built more on fanbase antics, as opposed to lousy supporters.

How did I know Philadelphia was going to be #1?

The Habs' fans making the list is pretty funny. Usually we're pretty good. It's some idiots that decide to riot that cause the problems (many just showing up after the game to stir crap up). No Flyers fans? No Leaf fans? FAIL!

So routinely causing over $100,000 in arson damage < some drunken jackass puking on someone. Riiiiiiiiiiight.

This list was built more on fanbase antics, as opposed to lousy supporters. To be fair, bandwagon fans aren't as bad as destruction and criminal acts in my book.

(Then again, were there ANY US hockey teams on there?)

I thought some of the fans for Iowa State were obnoxious. Those places make them look tame. Still annoying though.

Sad that USC (South Carolina) didn't make it. We have some really notable stupidity around football time, here.

This list was built more on fanbase antics, as opposed to lousy supporters. Fine by me, really; I'm not keen on uncaring fanbases, but I'd rather not fear for my safety if I go to a stadium of a rival team.

Shocked Kentucky Basketball didn't get on there. We're hated on as much as anyone else short of Philadelphia.

And once again, St. Louis Cardinals fans do not make the list.
To be honest, I'm a bit surprised- we've got our non-Cub fan haters out there.

Being a Massachusetts native it kind of makes sense that Red Sox fans are up there. But who cares? f*** the Yankees!

And once again, St. Louis Cardinals fans do not make the list. To be honest, I'm a bit surprised- we've got our non-Cub fan haters out there. St. Louis will never, ever make a list like this. There's the grand vision of the Cardinals fanbase as being the nicest, most welcoming in baseball, the "never boo your own players" types. ...Of course that's not totally true (chanting things about cocaine to Keith Hernandez, booing their own players who just won the World Series because they got swept in their first series of 2007, etc. etc.), but there are certainly a lot of stories of Cardinals fans being cool to visitors and whatnot. The list isn't really about hating a specific fanbase, it's about reported fanbase behavior, anyway, and there's no terrible stories of Cardinals fans lately. I've said it before and I'll say it again, when Philly fans started to finally go to Phillies games (they were never there during Mets/Phillies games until 2008, no matter how bad either team was), I forever had a dark spot in my fandom-heart for them when most of the stadium stood up and cheered when they thought Jose Reyes had a concussion...and then booed LOUDLY when they saw he was ok. Yeah, no. That's savage.

This is just my opinion, but I honestly think the Yankees' fanbase got on the list just because they root for the Yankees.
