Warrior saying anything about DiBiase is, at best, crap telling vomit it stinks. I laugh at those saying Warrior is anywhere near the level of Hogan as a celebrity. Hogan is to wrestling what Superman is to comic books and superheroes; iconic. People who have never watched a wrestling match in their lives have some idea of who Hulk Hogan is. Jim Hellwig is an unknown by comparison, at best being known as a rambling, hateful maniac who is a frequent, deserving target of mockery and scorn. Was he a bigger star in his prime than DiBiase? Maybe... Apples and oranges really; both were stars for rubbing elbows with Hogan more than anything either did on their own. I know reality is something you avoid Jimmy, but you were no star of your own power. Vince's super push, the fact that you were groomed as the air apparent to Hogan's place on top for a year and he put you over got you there. You failed miserably on top though... oh yeah, Warrior gained more from wrestling Hogan and beating him in '90 than Hogan would have. Warrior doesn't even begin to compare in the long run.

Considering Warrior came up with many of the ideas for the outfits, different face paint's,wacky interviews,Warrior catchphrases himself. I would say not anybody could of done it. Warrior believe it or not is quite educated. He might not of been a great wrestler, but he did understand the entertainment side of the buisness. Which is all he ever claims.
He had a certain charisma that others didn't have. In the 80's and early 90's tons of bodybuilders tried to wrestle, but they were lacking something. Look how good the Renegade did.

I actually agree with Warrior on a few issues, but some of this is just plain stupid. He speaks with absolute certainty regarding DiBiase's reasons for turning to Christianity. Unless he has had a conversation about that with DiBiase himself, he loses a bit of credibility for this one.

Unless he has had a conversation about that with DiBiase himself, he loses a bit of credibility for this one. He explains why he became "born-again" in his book. The Warrior brought it up. Im with the side that mortals turn to God when other mortals want nothing to do with them anymore. Its the same reason people in jail get all religious. Its usually the only option they have. I'm only speaking of the "born-again" people. That said, Warrior is a kook. This blog entry is nothing more than a bunch of vitriolic crap from a lunatic who surely will be senile by the time he's 60. I am not sticking up for DiBiase, but the childish insults masked by some pseudo-intelligence is silly and stupid. Make your points Warrior, but do so with a level head instead of relying on weight cracks and personal attacks (something he does regularly) to get your point across. Plenty of people have insulted Warrior in the past, but its usually from the business side of things. Warrior is the one who makes it personal. If someone calls you a shitty worker, they're not speaking of your character, but its a pretty good guess that Warrior is also a shitty person.

I agree with Warrior on most of this stuff.
I love Ted Dibiase, but the fact is that he is a massive hypocrite for his opinions of the business being too raunchy and horrible, but then when to work for the company (which was before they started to try to be PG again).
He is similar to what Warrior called many ex-wrestlers. Guys who insult the WWE when they are not employed and then worhship the company when they are getting a paycheck.
Also the attacks that Ted gave to him do show a bit of jealousy and annoyance.
We love to talk about workrate and why guys like Warrior are horrible wrestlers and guys like Dibiase are great wrestlers, but Warrior earned his spot in the company. He made his character work and he became ultra popular.
I also wonder, as Warrior implied if we would remember Dibiase so well if it wasn't for the gimmick? He was a great wrestler and a good promo so I'm sure he would have found something, but the Million Dollar Man is probably one of the greatest gimmicks of all time.
I don't appreciate Warrior taking jabs and Ted's weight and religious views. Although he maybe right about this views on born again Christians, I don't think there really is a place for it. Ted insulted him in the scope of the business, Warrior should have kept in that same genre.

The thing is, is that Warrior is extreme (like no one knew that).
I've been called "Warrior" a few times around here as a derogatory remark, and I think it get's unfairly used when someone has a view on something that is unconventional, but that's not the same as extreme.
Here's what I think of Warrior: I think that with most of what the guy has to say, he has a mostly correct philosophy, but he takes it way too far. I think he's an extremely intelligent man, but that in no way negates his extremeness.
Just simply saying "No offense to the man's family, but I still think Ted Dibiase is a very gluttonous person, the same way of the past but with a different method, and here's how I say that and all the reason's why" would have done just fine. Everything else was still to suit that view, but was completely unnecessary.
If you truly believe that your ways are right, and you truly want to show people that, and you actually are armed with the capabilities to show people that, the last thing that you would want to do is scare people off, but that's what the Warrior does.

I have to agree with Warrior
Million Dollar man being negative about the Warrior was simply pure jealousy.
Why would Dibiase say that Warrior, a guy who had enormous success during the time Dibiase was in the WWF (87 to 92 and 96), would not deserve to be in the HOF? Why would Pete Rose be more deserving?

but hey, Warrior was out of line saying Heenan deserved cancer. Warrior only said "karma's a bitch" and i think that's about right. Heenan may be the "god of the IWC" but to be honest, what's so special about Heenan? He wasn't a good commentator (it worked with Monsoon, but else? Watch him in WCW and he was just a bad commentator, didn't work with any of the commentators there, he was just bad) Heenan is the most overrated thing when it comes to the IWC and he talked s*** about every big star, be it warrior, hogan or anyone and i say it's just jealousy, because Heenan is unknown outside of the wrestling world....warrior, hogan, those are the big names. Heenan is nothing. Same with Ted. Ted DiBiase was a great wrestler and i always liked him, i even bought his wrestling figures, he was a heel, but i liked him, he was a great wrestler, but he never had the potential to be a big star. Warrior was a big star and he deserved it. The comments from Ted about how he was glad that Warrior was not introduced into the phoniest of all wrestling hall of fames were just pure jealousy and nothing more. At least Warrior is a wrestler with some integrity, he doesn't sell out to the McMahon Empire, he goes his own way. Ted DiBiase did sell-out and it is a shame, yeah, he may got a introduce to a wortless "hall of fame" and maybe got a ring, but what is that really worth? People today,non-wrestling fans know who Ultimate Warrior was but don't know anything about Ted DiBiase Ladies and Gentlemen, Amanda Warrior

Once you say that someone deserved to get cancer, your opinions no longer matter to me.
In short: f*** off, Jim Hellwig.

The thing about Warrior is that he has never been shy about speaking his mind, and he has never cared for so-called political correctness. Do I fully agree with what he's saying? No, but he does have some points in his tirades. Didn't Warrior decline being inducted into the Hall of Fame? Something about how do you go from the "Self-destruction..." DVD to being asked about the Hall of Fame.

To be fair, the way Dibiase acted was sort of hypocritical, but Warrior really needs to find a way to critique people without being ridiculously offensive. It would be very easy to get "the high ground" vs. the guy in a debate because he's so unlikable.

Well if I remember correctly, Dibiase didn't go on a huge rant about how much Warrior Sucks. He did mention that he wasn't the best wrestler, but his complaints were more about how Warrior wasn't grateful to the other wrestlers who helped him, the WWF machine that made him famous, how dangerous he could be in the ring, and that he felt that he didn't really love the business. Valid arguments.
And to be fair, everyone in life is a hypocrite. People can change their minds, or evolve and just soften up their attitudes towards things. As long as he doesn't go around acting like he never had a problem with it. That's a hypocrite. He still admits that he didn't like the attitude era. He just mellowed out and to be fair, so did the company. WWE in 2005 (as raunchy as it was) was still wayy tamer than WWF 1999.
