Personally, I pick the "You're too good" so-called reasoning. It shows a complete lack of self-respect on the part of the individual you have feelings for that are not ever going to be returned and a total cop-out IMHO. But what do you think is the worst?

Because her mom didn't think I was good enough because I was going to a community college rather than a 4-year university.
Keep in mind, she herself didn't feel this because she wanted to go to a community college too (to save some money and be closer to home), but her mommy actually said (and I quote!) "No daughter of mine is going to some community college."
All this after a year and a half relationship.

I hate the "You're too nice" excuse. Makes no sense.
Then again, I never even got a reason for my last rejection. She just decided to alienate me for no reason once she realized I was interested in her. That's probably the worst of all because I wish I knew what I did wrong so that I could fix it.

If a woman ever told me that she didn't want anything serious, I'd say "OK, let's just casually bang"

Haven't really been rejected, but then again, I rarely ever put myself out there. However, on a dating site, I sent a girl a message and said that I thought that we could identify with each other. She responded with "What do you think we have in common?" and I said some stuff like reading and such. Anyway, she said that she can't stand rap and she said that she thought that we wouldn't get along and she ended it with "No offense and I can't really say much because I really don't know you." Sure, I can deal with no responses and sometimes getting blocked, but judging someone on a profile is sort of pushing it for me.
As for other reasons getting rejected, liking something that the girl doesn't. I can understand if she doesn't like rap or anything else I am into, but if she rejects me for that reason, then she isn't worth being around because that is the stupidest deal breaker I have ever heard of.

apparently, i lived too far away for a relationship, but close enough for a booty call.
he also pulled the "you deserve better" line, which i thought was him just putting himself down so i could say "but you're such a good guy and i really want to be with you."
he was right. i really do deserve better than him.

If someone tells you're too good they are absolutely lying to your face.
The worst is lets just be friends, let's not ruin the friendship... just the worst

Have never head the " you're too good/I'm not good enough" thing, but that's straight up Costanza " It's not you, it's me" reasoning.

It's not you, it's me. First off, it's always me. I feel insulted when they try to steal the glory of being the one to ruin the relationship.

Let's not ruin the friendship.
Which brings me to my theory: "If you're in the friend zone, you'll never be in the end zone."

I once had a girlfriend leave me for a ginger. This wasn't just any ginger though. He made Rocky Dennis and Carrot Top look like George Clooney.

If you're talking about Rocky Dennis (The character, not Eric Stoltz, who definitely is not an ugly guy) and Carrot Top looking like George Clooney in comparison, I would really hate to see this guy.

I had a chick essentially make me dump her so she could go back to her ex-fiance who cheated on her non-stop. I'm pretty sure they're married now.
I also had a chick tell me that we should just stay friends, and that "it's not because I'm afraid of you or anything like that." No one had said anything about her (or anyone else) being afraid of me.
