That's legitimately not true. The only reason I have ANY brand loyalty to Coke is because it tastes good. I don't care about anything else. Same for Pepsi, only I don't drink it because I think it tastes awful. Same here. I was blindly loyal to pepsi most most of my middle school and high school years. Then later on I started to like coke much more. Saying you can't taste the difference is a cheap cop out for people who hate both sodas. No, it's not. That's a ridiculous argument (not to mention grammatically incorrect, since "cop out" means "admission of guilt"). That's like saying "you don't like [sports team] because you can't name a player on the team". It ignores the fact that taste varies from person to person. Some people like pickles, some don't. Some people like dark chocolate, some like milk chocolate. And, I'm sorry, but some people cannot taste a difference between Coke and Pepsi. It's true. It's not a "cop out" for disliking both of them. It's just a plain fact. I admit that I don't like either, and I also admit I can't taste a difference, but one does not factor into the other; I do not like the taste of cola. I find it bitter and bitey (same reason I don't like Barq's root beer). And whatever variations there are that some people can detect in Coke and Pepsi, I cannot;all I taste is bitter. Why this seems to offend you, I don't understand. Jed Shaffer ~I prefer un-Cola nuts. Ah-ah-ah!
