No Vanilla Ice. Hell, no Snow. Try to get really obscure here.
*LANGUAGE WARNING*
I never even realized this was a one hit wonder. I thought it was an underground rap song. Turns out it was #5 on the Hot 100 in 1999 for a bit.

Perhaps not as obscure now thanks to the internet, but for close to 10 years I would mention this and people had no idea what it was.

I liked it alot and still do.

"Lucas with the Lid off" peaked at #29 in 1994 on the Billboard Top 100. The music video for his the single, directed by Michel Gondry, recieved a Grammy nomination for Best Music Video, Short Form and a MTV Video Music Award nomination for Best Male Video in 1995. The video features a very distinctive and memorable style, being shot in one take among a variety of different sets. It was voted #4 in an MTV list of the "Best Videos of All-Time".

Well, these might be two songs, but she seems very obscure as little to no information is found about her:
She is mostly known for the first song, but I guess she was more popular in Southern California than anywhere else. Sure, she was signed to Universal Records back in the mid 90s, but after she did that one album, she was never heard from again, even though in the mid-2000s, she appeared as a guest artist doing a chorus on some songs from Latino rappers.

I remember someone posted about her a little while ago (maybe it was you?). Anyway, I like the beat of the second song

I wouldn't call this obscure to be fair.
I guess I'm only one listens to 80's Pop music then?
