And by "games", they mean "crappy games". Which you have no proof of, and hell, I bet they know better after the one MS gave away. Plus there is choice. I am betting flower gets in there at least.

Can't wait to see what shovelware I'm offered the chance to clog my PS3's memory with.
EDIT: Of course, it could be great. Optimism. Keep that chin up. Pip pip. Jolly good.

I'm starting to get really frustrated. Yeah I understand I can play single-player but I'm 90% always playing online. It's what I enjoy doing. I'm to the point where I'm considering selling my ps3 and just making the 360 my primary. Not being able to play uncharted 3 is what seriously holds me back.

Just saying.

IGN has only had this article up for an hour, but according to a report from Bloomberg, Sony won't have the PSN up and running completely until May 31st. ps3.ign.com/articles/116/1166810p1.htmlI gotta agree with the article on one thing...I dunno how you can say it's in the final stages of being done and put up and then turn around and say it'll be another 3 weeks.

As many people that have said that they no longer trust Sony and aren’t impressed with their communication you’d think that they’d handle these announcements better. If it takes a month or more that’s fine as I don’t really care but I wish they’d just say that rather than all these “this week” lies.

So just so I can understand this correctly........They want to make Sony pay for being hacked by hacking them?

I can see one positive as a result of this. Less distractions during my upcoming exam season.
If Worms 2 is one of the free games I'll be very happy. I'm sure, however, we will get .detuned or something along those lines.

One thought keeps cropping up in my mind though: when they DO bring this back up, what are the odds that it either lags TERRIBLY or crashes altogether with EVERYONE trying to get on at the same time?

Getting back on track... Quick Mass Effect 2 - related question: Just bought the game for PS3. Now, I wanna remake the character I had in the first one, but obviously with PSN being down, I can't download the interactive Genesis comic. My question is, does playing through the comic really make a difference to the actual game? How important are the choices you make in the comic? It's just I really loved my character/story in the first one and I'd be a little OCD about any lack of continuity. I was set to make a decent-sized post about this, but take it from me, I never played ME1, so I would just be going on in circles. Instead of doing that, I just decided to post the interactive comic, so you can just watch it and see for yourself. In my opinion, the choices you make in the comic kind of don't really have an effect on ME2, just some of the characters that were in the first one, like... {Spoiler}Whether or not you save Ashley or Kaiden, and who you pick as Admiral. But yeah...see for yourself. Have you played ME2 at all, or is this your first time going through the game? Cheers, that was a lot of help. It's my first time going through it, I played the first one on the 360 back when it first came out so my memory of the storyline and such was a little sketchy. That vid helped refresh it a bit though. Looks like it doesn't really matter playing the comic if it doesn't make that much of an impact on ME2 itself anyhow. And no way I'm holding off playing the game till the end of the month waiting till I can download the damn thing.

So tired with this whole issues. Not really with the PSN (still) being down but how the info was so easily taken. Already have had someone change my mac email password and switch my Paypal language to Chinese.
I'm gonna trade the PS3 in soon so you can take my name off the front page. It's SMiLEfan.

I'm not sure what will happen if you play the game without making the choices in the comic, as... {Spoiler}Kaiden or Ashley will appear midway through the game after a mission for a cutscene. Regardless of that, just play the damn game. It improves on the first game's mechanics and gets rid of the stuff that plagued the first game (like the roaming missions and the elevators...this is all from what I read). Planet mining...still exists. But it wasn't TOO much of a chore for me as some people said. Other than that, it's one of the best games I think i've ever played. That, i'm serious on. No game has ever made me want to go back IMMEDIATELY after beating it for the first time. Mass Effect 2 did that.

This is what I hope for as well. I really enjoyed the first game. To know that they've improved on this with better enemies, more abilities, etc. It can't get here fast enough. I've been debating what system to get L.A. Noire on. Since it's only a single player game (majority of my online friends are on 360) and the PS3 version will all be on 1 disc as opposed to 3 I'm leaning more towards that version. L.A. Noire and Infamous 2 will be my next gaming purchases. I hope PSN comes back soon. I miss playing BFBC 2. Well on PS3 LA Noire is on 1 disc, on the 360, its on 3. Some may not care but I HATE disc switching. Especially in 2011. I 100% agree with this. I am excited for LA Noire but I don't want to buy it until there's some reviews. Because Medal of Honor was supposed to be great but flopped. Thankfully I didn't buy that.

One time I played ME2 on 360 without bringing over my ME1 character, these were the results of the major decisions from ME1 that the game makes for you(and might tell you what the canon results might be): {Spoiler}Kaiden, Wrex, and the Council all die. Udina is put in charge.

Yeah, but MoH was made by EA Games. LA Noire is being made by Rockstar, who can be argued as the Pixar of the gaming world. I think I trust myself in the hands of Rockstar, personally. Plus, they're going to revolutionize the motion capture market. The footage i've seen looks outstanding.
