I'm loving Jarrett in this new gimmick, it's the most he's entertained me since he was running round with a guitar calling people slapnuts. This is what Jarrett is best at, being the smarmy deluded heel. Jarrett putting ankle locks on kids and making little girls tap out was just pure gold

I agree. I don't even like Jarrett (never have) and I think that his MMA segments are one of the best parts of Impact.

I agree, MMA Jarrett is one of the best things in TNA make that in wrestling right now. And I also have not been a Jarrett fan, well since his early WWF deluded faux country star days anyhow.

MMA Jarrett is still Jarrett. He needs to be off my screen.

I think Jarrett in general lately has just been awesome. He's just become a total dick in every sense possibly, and he plays it so ridiculously over the top that I can't help but laugh. Watching him slap Borash around amuses me.

The segments drag on entirely too long for me. In smaller doses they'd be ok.

I love them. Ive said it a few times, but I think Jarrett is the best heel in TNA, and one of the best overall in wrestling right now. He's just such an ass.

I think MoMA Jarrett would have been better Museum of Modern Art Jarrett? Would he wear a beret and black turtleneck and draw a squiggle on a blank canvas, saying how it represents his INNER TORTURED SOUL? If anyone from TNA Creative reads this board, book it! As for MMA Jarrett, the segments so far are just really boring to me. Though yesterday's was a lot more tolerable than last week's disaster. When I see Jarrett drone on about rear naked chokes and whathaveyou for minutes on end, I change the channel to something more interesting.

Yay, I'm glad I'm not the only one who like the new MMA Jeff Jarrett. I hear it constantly getting crapped on (mainly because it's JJ), but so far I like it. It's original, it's relevant, and it's different. A pro wrestler suddenly thinking he's a big MMA expert is a great gimmick. It's the exact kind of delusional thinking a good heel should have.
If this were WWE, I would assume this would lead to an actual MMA fighter coming in and handing him his ass, but since this is TNA who knows where it's headed.

I wonder if TNA would bring Frank Trigg in again. Of course, I heard that match against AJ Styles wasn't that good two years ago.

I don't really care for old Double J for the most part, but he's always been at his best when the viewer isn't supposed to take him seriously.
I admit I chuckled when he came out a couple weeks ago with "MMA ENTHUSIAST" under his name.

I agree with the segments being a little long, but i DO like some of the smaller things he's been doing, like last night I was legitimately laughing at...
"HEY, drinking water, gotta make weight."

Thats more or less what Samoa Joe and Kurt Angle are, though. Theyve always been marketed as mma hybrids, almost.

The difference is Jarret isn't it's an entertaining idea and if they shave some time off his skits it could work a lot better. Also has he seemed to gotten into better shape? THERE ARE ABS WHERE THERE ONCE WERE NO ABS.
