I understand where your comming from, But then micheal richards should get a pass because he can just say "Oh I was just kidding guys, relax" From the verbal descriptions it's clar to see he was venting some of his own personal belifs rather then making jokes. The Michael Richards incident is quite different, though, in that he veered from his prepared act and began to assail a heckler with racial abuse. And in this instance it was "just part of the act". Ok let me give an example say I decide to doa stand up routine, Lets say I go for crude humor so your expecting some dark stuff from me, Halfway through I say "You know what else was funny? The holocaust, I tell you what if the jews can take being big nosed they can take a joke" your saying you would'nt think for a moment that perhaps something else was going on besides a comedy routine? I'm sorry tracey doesn't get a break just because he put this in the middle of a routine, Hell it wasn't even a joke of any form just him going on about how much he hates gays.

Actually, being a complete f***ing jerkoff can sometimes be a great career move. Look what it did for Charlie Sheen recently. It lost him the highest paying job in television and pretty much made him unempoyable since very, very few actors would be willing to work with him at this point. He got a short-term boost but in the long run, he crushed himself. Wouldn't be surprised if Tracy Morgan doesn't find his TV/movie opportunities very limited once 30 Rock is done. Charlie Sheen is a bit different though. If he had been smart about it he could have made way more money off that negative publicity.
