The United Football League has been put on hold for 30 days and appears to be in danger of going under. According to reports, two or three of the minor league's five owners don't want to proceed at all. On several occasions, the UFL has been accused of being late with its payments to players and other employees, I've been re-reading "Loose Balls: The Story Of The Wild History Of The American Basketball Association" by Terry Pluto, and I just have this vivid image of players not being paid, storming the offices and being told "We can't pay you, but you can take what you want." Players loading up on word processors, telephones and anything not nailed down. (A then-19 year old Moses Malone filled up a laundry cart with old sneakers and Utah Stars uniforms and pushed it out the door, dragging his broken foot behind him.) You would think - out of all the major sports - that football players would be the one you should pay.

Panthers 0-17. Because if you aim low, anything that happens is a pleasant suprise. Only 0 and 16?! Sweet!

Dallas Cowboys: 11-5. Despite the fact that we do seem to have a kinda easy schedule this year, I still feel like i'm being generous.
Holy crap, i'm the only Cowboys fan here, aren't I?

Every fan who has done a week-by-week prediction for their respective team's 2011 regular season has their team losing to the New England Patriots. So, with that being said, I don't think it's outside of the realm of possibility for another 16-0 season. However, before I go and get cocky and say 19-0, I'm going to have to see what the Patriots do in free agency. I'm arrogant, but I'm not THAT arrogant.

Colts... I have 'em going 11-5.
The worst team this upcoming season? No surprise, but Carolina is still going to suck something fierce, and I won't be in the least bit surprised if they also go 1-15.

Citing a source, Mike Jurecki of XTRA 910 in Phoenix reports that the Cardinals "are prepared" to offer Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie "straight up" for Kevin Kolb when free agency kicks off. Jurecki also confirmed that Matt Hasselbeck and Kyle Orton are on the Cardinals' "short list" if they can't acquire Kolb, but insisted that "Kolb is the guy" the team will pursue first. Rotoworld To me, that makes no sense. Philly is one of, if not the, front runner in the Nnmdi Asomugha sweep stakes. If they land him and have Asante Samuel on the other side, then ARC isn't needed. Now, if they were willing to dish out Patrick Peterson, Philly might go for that. Oh, and I'm not guess the Eagle's record. I'm way too paranoid to do that. ;D

Denver: OAK: W CIN: W @ TEN: W @gb: L SD: W @mia: L DET: W @oak: L @kc: L NYJ: W S.D.: L @min: L CHI: W (Heat on Cutler will be off the charts) NE: W @buf: W KC: W Going off my game picks: 10-6. Realistically, 8-8 or 9-7. No more McDaniels. Fox as coach is a winner. Elway in front office. Von Miller will be a bad ass. DOOM is back on D after missing all last season (our D will be improved just from him). And TEBOW!!!

The worst team this upcoming season? No surprise, but Carolina... The Bengals would like a minute for rebuttal. The Panthers are NOT going to have a worse season than last year. That's what 1-15 would be. We were 2-14 last year. We are going to do a lot better than that. IMO, the Bengals got worse than they were last year. They were 4-12 and will slide further down.

Packers
12-4 with a bye in the playoffs considering they won it all with all those injuries last season.
Loses to Tampa Bay, Lions, Chargers, and the Bears.

I don't think they can slide down much more. I fully expect the Bengals to win 2 or 3 games this year, but... yeah. They're going to wind up picking a Top 5 draft choice this year and once again fail to get a good player. In short, this vicious circle of lousiness can only be broken by one man: Mike Brown. Sadly, that circle will remain intact until he passes away.

No offense, but the Panthers are going to run Cam Newton to the ground. And they still have nothing else going for 'em, offensively. However, I will second your opinion. Carson Palmer is on his way out, and there is nothing else that can provide them with offensive firepower for the good ol' Bungles.

Jonathan Stewart is a top 10 running back in the league....and Mike Goodson is gonna surprise the hell outta a lot of people also... Also I think we'll make a splash in free agency as well...

Am I the only Browns fan here!?
Let's do it:
8-8. Colt is a stud and can bring it. His heart is bigger than his brain and that's why there'll be 8 losses.

We will see soon won't we? RISE UP! you better hope not, because the last scene fans have in their minds is a score they can't exactly remember but was probably something like 72-14, in the Georgia Dome, and "Matty Ice" looked like a noodle armed Daunte Culpepper. I don't know what "rise up" means, but I hope for Atlanta's sake that it involves a new corps of defensive backs and a playbook that allows wide receivers to run routes that are more than 6 yards

@si_JimTrotter: BREAKING: NFLPA exec committee has broken for the night w/o reaching a decision on whether to recommend approval of the antitrust settlement
Also, the plaintiffs issue in the antitrust case remains unresolved. Vincent Jackson is the only player who has yet to verbally sign off.
