{Spoiler}Go to Riften and speak to Brynolf for Thieves, Aventus Areno for The Brotherhood. Just do his quest, then maybe take a nap, it's been a long day after all Thank you sir . Also, the perk that gives 15x damage to dagger sneak attacks is amazing. I trigger the animation kill nearly every time now with a power attack. I made sure to use that on every assassination target except for one. Also, just decapitated a certain joker, except now his hat is floating above his neck stump :s

During the mission where you have to go an clear out a certain fortress to join the Imperial Legion, I was quite frankly having my arse handed to me by the bandits in there so I did a bit of wandering around, found a certain shrine and lost all my armour penalties for movement. Made sneaking a lot easier I can tell you. So I went back, snuck around to the back (sneaking about in full steel armour ftw)and used my new archery zoom perk to snipe the buggers from a same distance.
Man I enjoyed that.
And am just a little way into a companions mission and my mind has just been officially blown.

I spent ages wondering why I couldn't make Elven, only to realise I hadn't unlocked the perk.

Well, I exchanged my PS3 version for the 360 version. Just figured that the possibility of a glitch that made the game unplayable happening was reason enough to switch systems for it. Basically just played enough to match my previous night's save, then quit.... and loaded up Saints Row 3 as that arrived right around that time.
so I'm pretty much set.

Normal, Legendary, and Epic... ive done this with Steel and Orc armor, yet from some reason i can only get Dragon Armor to legendary.... probably some quest or something i have to do later on down the line... i even tried to google it but came up with nothing!

Someone's going to have to help me out. I can't read the thread because I don't want any spoilers. I want help getting my PC ready to be able to take on this game. Someone PM me if you're willing to help out.

I dropped 30 potatoes individually in a market only for some guy to come up to me and try and give them back!!
So I then dropped them all on his meat stall instead.

So is this game a lot better than Oblivion? I personally found Oblivion to be really blah. The characters, quests, magic spells, stealth, linear weapon/armor sets, leveling.

This game took a lot of the problems of Oblivion and fixed them. I've never played Morrowind, but a lot of folks who have, my best friend included, are much more impressed with Skyrim than Oblivion, and hod it in the same esteem (or better) as Morrowind.

I'm not sure if this is a glitch or was meant to happen. {Spoiler}So I married that huntress girl from the Companions. I took her with me on my travels and whenever I make enough money, I ask her to teach me some archery. However, when I wanted to trade with her, I noticed that she's carrying thousands of dollars that I paid her so I took it back! Free training!

So is this game a lot better than Oblivion? I personally found Oblivion to be really blah. The characters, quests, magic spells, stealth, linear weapon/armor sets, leveling. Skyrim is much better than Oblivion in terms of being interesting. Take the dungeons for example. In Oblivion it was ONE GUY making all of the caves. No wonder they became samey, right? It was one guy putting stock parts together. Skyrim had 8 people working on the dungeon design, and each one feels a lot different. Some things Morrowind still did better. The overall feel of the game was much more unique with its bizarre architecture, silt striders, tribal elves, etc. Also, I preferred the way the guilds worked there, with advancement based on your level of skill, and the low-level quests being grunt work. There was also more variety in the environment itself, instead of being mostly mountains. Skyrim is SO sleek though. The actual design of everything is just absolutely top notch. While playing Morrowind I don't think I ever just looked at something because it was so wonderfully designed. Being able to dual wield powers, do magic/shield or magic/sword is really great. Archery is of course much better. Combat overall is much better than Morrowind and Oblivion, but that is to be expected as combat was never their strong suit anyway. Also, you don't need a goddamn excel spreadsheet to manage your leveling in Skyrim.

This game steamrolls Oblivion in alot of way, the dungeons are the biggest change to me, alot of variety... and then there is the constant change in gameplay climate... i could be out picking flowers and then you see the ground slightly rumble and then your fighting a dragon 5 seconds later. Ill admit i loved Morrowind, and Oblivion did bore me after a few hours but this game has me chained to my 360 since i picked the game up!

I didn't really get on with Oblivion either. Got as far as closing one gate then gave up. This on the other hand has had me hooked ofr a week. Never been more glad I don't have a job.
My question is; how do I marry someone?

I tried killing one of the Greybeards for the cool Robes they wear, promptly got horribly killed as they are rather powerful. So if I can't kill one the normal way I decided to try from that tower in the courtyard as I figured that if I knock one of them off he will fall to his death.
A: He didn't die, survived the fall B; He encased me in Ice C: He knocked me off the cliff instead D: Hilarious glitch as I spazm-fly/fall around the area encased in Ice seemingly unable to die for about 5 minutes.

My question is; how do I marry someone? Go to Riften(or at least I think it's Rifton), go to the temple, talk to the head guy there, he'll give you an amulet. Wear the amulet converse with some NPCs. Eventually, one will say something to the effect that they're also looking to wed. Agree, then go to Riften, tell the guy you're getting married, and then the wedding should be the next day.

I wish I could give specific examples of things that have happened to me in this game to back up how awesome I think it is.... unfortunately, my game hasn't had any real stand-out moments just yet. Everything has seemed to go according to plan, cleared a few dungeons, killed a dragon, got croqueted the height of a mountain from an angry giant.... pretty standard fare.
So if I'm enjoying the regular stuff going on so immensely, I can't wait until it gets crazier later on.
