It's just me or Toney's interview was hard to understand? I understood some things, but the rest was thrown all over the place.

Your not alone, hell the interview he did on inside MMA a few months ago should of been subtitled as no one had a clue what the hell he was saying Toney will be in for a rude awakening if he thinks that having a one big punch is enough to get him though the UFC.

Machida smacks Rampage around. Rampage has become too one dimensional since the Dan Henderson fight (his last prominent show of wrestling) and he isnt good enough as a boxer to beat Machida.

It's just me or Toney's interview was hard to understand? I understood some things, but the rest was thrown all over the place. Well, Toney has had 83 professional boxing bouts over 22 years. I wouldn't be surprised if he's taken enough head damage to impair parts of his speaking. Evander Holyfield gets a lot of attention for his declining verbal skills, but Toney could probably stand for a test or two. Of course, he's still healthy enough to be approved, but it is somewhat worrisome.

Hes been in boxing for 22 years but I'd guess hes taken less damage then your average guy does in his first 3 years. Tony is just a marble mouth like Jamarcus Russel. Go look for some interviews with him from his younger days, and you'll notice that he has always talked like a ghetto version of Rocky.

Tony's never really had one big punch, but he is a defensive, and counter punching machine. Honestly though I don't see him lasting too long, because nobody is going to stand with him long enough to let him counter punch them to death, and I don't like his chances if it goes to the ground.

^^^ I hope so as Toney has pretty much made it quite clear that he has no respect for the sport.
Also speaking of past their prime boxers going into MMA, David Tua might be making his MMA debut next year.

New Blog From Rampage From www.rampage-jackson.comFirst of all, over a year ago I was in the media for my truck incident which was a very difficult time for me in my life. I had to deal with so much negativity being wrongfully accused of killing an unborn child and everybody jumped on the bandwagon and said I was on drugs, said I was crazy from losing the fight, and just bad mouthing me. But no one ever asked what was the real story behind why I did that. The truth of the matter is I saved a life that day. No one ever asked me that and I never tried to promote that or go deep into anything. I just wanted it to go away and I was very embarrassed about the whole thing. But the friend life that I saved that day was worth every bit of bad press and media I received. I would do it again and risk my life for any of my friends. All of my friends that know me, that really takes time out to get to know me.. knows that the words I'm saying now is all true. The media is quick to paint a bad picture about people, not caring what it would do that persons personal or mental state... only caring about profits or some hot scoop. My friend was about to commit suicide that day and he is one of the few friends that I have that don't see me as a meal ticket. Never asked me for one UFC ticket. Never asked me for one autograph for his friends. Always helped me train for my fights for free. Always quick to help me just cause we're friends, not for any personal gain in the future. Never once asked to borrow any money. For a person like me, it's hard to know who your real friends are. So if this friend was in any danger, yes... I would put my life on the line to make sure I don't lose that friendship. Now I got my life back together from all that doing positive things, trying to be the best role model I can be. Instead of the media congradulating me from this obstical, it chooses to paint a picture of me as a gay basher. Let me teach you a little something about me cause I know y'all don't really know me. I am a black man from Memphis Tennessee who grew up in the south where I faced discrimination my whole life. I know very well how it feels for someone to judge you for something you have no control over so having gone through that I know how it feels. I took a vow that I didn't even have to say that I would never discriminate against anybody for anything other that how they treat me or others around them. So not only DO I NOT HATE gay people, I actually accept them for who and what they are. They always seem happy and most of them I met are very kind and nice individuals. Yes, and like most straight guys I joke around with the whole gay thing and I see it as comedy, not saying that's right or wrong but I don't do it out of hate. I don't hate fat girls but I make fun of them too. When I did that interview I didn't even know I was being interviewed. I was on the set of shooting the movie the A Team and my friend that worked on the set brought the interviewer to my trailer. As he did so, he made fun of me for a poster that was made of me promoting a UFC event at my homegirls bar in Vancouver. The poster was a picture of me with a rainbow flag on the poster somewhere. This girl has been a friend of mine for 7 years and never used me as a meal ticket and if I would die for one friend it was nothing for me to help a friend promote business. So I offered to help promote her bar not knowing that the poster would make its way back to the set and I would be made fun of for going to a gay bar. But I have to say that I visited her bar several times before this event. Not only did I enjoy myself but I was relieved that the guys at this bar did not hound me once. No one offered to buy me a drink. Not once did anybody try to take pictures with me with their arms all around me or do the what I call the 'prom date picture'.. taking a picture while holding your lower back.. which is my pet peeve by the way. Honestly I mean this in the best way, me being a sports figure I attract a lot of male attention wherever I go and MOST straight fans act GAYER than any guys that was at this gay bar that I visited my homegirl at. When I'm in the club guys always offer to buy me drinks, do the prom date picture, stare at me, try to get my attention, tries to dance with me.. even if I'm dancing with a hot chick already. Even though I love ALL MY FANS, this can be overwhelming sometimes, especially when I'm trying to unwind and have fun which in my line of work you don't get much time to do. This being said, when I did this interview the interviewer witnessed my friend giving me shit and calling me gay. I was so embarrassed and didn't want my ego tainted because I'm a big tough fighter. So yes, I got quite defensive and I'm known to be the best shit talker in my business and a fighter in all aspects in life. So I made fun of him back, calling him gay. Only reason why I got a bad report from it was because this guy who was making fun of me and has been my friend on set for about four months (time spent working on the movie) and was gay for real and the reporter being the type of guy he is chose to make THAT his story not knowing that the guy and I were only shit talking like we did everyday. OR DID HE KNOW WE WERE SHIT TALKING OR NOT AND JUST WANTED A HOT SCOOP? That's not my concern now, my only concern is that I don't want people thinking of me in a way I'm not. I am known for being honest and a trustworthy guy and a person that tells it like it is. This quality sometimes gets me in trouble, especially when my kids know there is no santa clause and there's no tooth fairy and the easter bunny is a distraction from the truth, and that pro wrestling is just entertainment. So everybody get used to me cause I'm not going to change one ounce, one bit for NO ONE. I am God's street soldier. And God is the only person that I care about impressing or judging me. EVERYBODY LIGHTEN THE f*** UP! LET'S HAVE FUN! THAT'S THE MOST IMPORTANT THING WE CAN DO RIGHT NOW! THERE'S TOO MUCH NEGATIVITY IN THIS WORLD, SO LET'S JUST FOCUS ON THE POSITIVE THINGS AND I GUARANTEE IF WE DO THAT THINGS CAN ONLY GET BETTER!

From mmajunkie
LAS VEGAS – It seems boxing champ Floyd Mayweather isn't the only fighter who believes Olympic-style drug testing should be more prevalent in combat sports.
At Monday's "The Ultimate Fighter 12" media day at the UFC Training Center in Las Vegas, opposing coaches Georges St-Pierre (20-2 MMA, 14-2 UFC) and Josh Koscheck (15-4 MMA, 13-4 UFC) both said they think a more stringent program should be in place for their December bout.
St-Pierre said he believes cheaters need to be caught now before performance-enhancing drugs ruin the sport, while Koscheck said from what he's heard, the champ might need to look in the mirror.
"From what I've heard from other fighters in other camps, yeah, [St-Pierre] has done steroids and HGH, possibly," Koscheck told MMAjunkie.com (www.mmajunkie.com). "I don't know. This is just on hearsay information that I've gotten.
"B.J. Penn and his camp gave me a little phone call. They were saying, 'Yeah, he's on steroids. He's this; he's that.' I said, 'Yeah, there's a possibility.' The guy is pretty ripped all year round."
Koscheck made it clear that he was not making a direct accusation of impropriety from the UFC's welterweight champ but rather just passing on what he had heard from other sources. Nevertheless, the 32-year-old believes he and St-Pierre should both submit to blood testing throughout their camp.
"I would love to do it; why not?" Koscheck asked. "I think Olympic-style testing would be great for our sport. At least you do it a couple times out from the fight.
"I think it will be a great idea."
Olympic-style drug testing is considered superior to the typical urine-based tests used by athletic commissions around the country because by taking blood, the test is able to identify a greater range of performance-enhancing drugs, including Human Growth Hormone (HGH).
The process gained notoriety in combat sports circles in late 2009 when Mayweather and fellow superstar boxer Manny Pacquiao scrapped a potential contest after being unable to reach an agreement regarding drug testing procedures.
When asked his opinion on the matter, St-Pierre said not only would he be approve Olympic-style testing, he believes the entire sport should embrace the process.
"I have no problem; anytime he wants," St-Pierre said. "I stand for that more than anybody else. I stand for this, and I just hope it's going to happen soon. I know a lot of people cheat in this sport, and it's unacceptable.
"I'm for random drug testing. There's nobody in the UFC that agrees more with random testing then me. ... Anything they want, I don't care. I give my body to science."
St-Pierre said he wasn't necessarily surprised that he was the target of such discussion, but he adamantly denies that he's ever used performance-enhancing substances.
"I'm not a coward," St-Pierre said. "Anyone that uses steroids is a cheater. I don't need to cheat to win. I am like I am, and I'm somebody that is not a coward.
"I'm not afraid of Josh Koscheck, and I don't need to cheat to beat him. I'm going to beat him by the book and using the right way."
While St-Pierre said his muscle gain has come through hard work and an increased focus on a proper diet, he believes there are some fighters who aren't as committed to going by the book. The Canadian superstar said he believes that Olympic-style testing could help to reveal some of those athletes that have gained success with the help of chemicals.
"I just hope that it's going to happen and happen soon," St-Pierre said. "I want it to happen. I don't know who uses [performance-enhancing drugs]. I have no idea, and I'm not going to say any names, but I want it to happen soon. What's happening now, it's going to be bad. It's going to be like a certain other sport. I don't want to say the name of the sport, but it's not going to be the best fighter that wins the fight.
"Now, what makes a good fighter is a lot of genetics, the style, the skills, the heart. Now there is another factor that influences the fight: the team of doctors behind the fighter. This should not be an element that helps a fighter to win a fight. That's something I am against. It's not everybody that stands for that, and I don't. I think everybody should be testing like the Olympic Games."
While the UFC has yet to determine where the December matchup between St-Pierre and Koscheck will take place, it will ultimately be up to the governing commission to determine what steps are taken to ensure a level-playing field. Both fighters say they're willing to submit to increased regulations, though Koscheck believes he's destined to win regardless of St-Pierre's tactics.
"I plan on making Georges stand toe-to-toe with me," Koscheck said. "This isn't going to be a wrestling match. I'm going to force him to stand-up with me because I believe he doesn't have knockout power. We've just got to pray to God that he doesn't grease up, and he gets off that juice so that we can equal things about it.
"I just want to let him know that if he's going to do that, it doesn't matter. I'm still going to beat you because it can't make the chin that much stronger. His chin's still weak."
For the latest on "The Ultimate Fighter 12," which is currently in filming and debuts Sept. 15 on Spike TV, stay tuned to the UFC Rumors section of MMAjunkie.com.
EDIT- I dont think GSP is on anything myself. Its just Koscheck playing to his usual douchebag routine. But I do agree on the Olympic style testing, especially in a combat sport like this.
