One thing alot of people posting in this thread don't realize is that, though Vince Sr. removed his promotion from the NWA in 1963, he still maintained a position on the board of directors for quite some time with the purpose of doing talent exchanges. So most of the big names of the day did a program or two "up North".

Didn't CW Anderson wrestle in the new ECW as Christopher W Anderson? Yup and Corino has had backstage, writer and dark match try outs with WWE. He also was a jobber on Superstars in the mid-nineties, I do believe. At the very least, he was a plant in the audience getting attacked by (I think) Crush (in ex-convict gimmick). To the person on the first page who said Midnight Express, I think that Stan Lane may have worked a couple house show matches when he was there as an announcer. I do remember at least, that it was hinted in the WWF Magazine at the time (by Informer Russo) that he had gotten into a backstage brawl with some heel (I want to say Jeff Jarrett, but I have no idea) and was looking to settle differences in the ring.
