Sting is widely regarded as the greatest wrestler to never step fun in a WWE ring.
If he were to sign with the WWE who would take his spot as the greatest to never wrestle for McMahon? After we gets some names together I suppose a poll could be created.
For the sake of this thread lets leave out stars from other countries without a major American awareness (IE Great Muta would count, random Japanese guy most haven't heard of would not)
Bruiser Brody is the first name that comes to mind.

Surely, Bruiser Brody showed up in the WWWF at least once?
I can't think of anyone outside of Sting. Most of the TNA guys will probably show up sometime in the future.

I know some smart-ass is going to say "Chris Benoit"....but in all seriousness....
Stu Hart never "wrestled" for McMahon, did he? I know they did business together and Stu was in angles with Bret and stuff...but I don't recall him ever wrestling for a McMahon.

Surely, Bruiser Brody showed up in the WWWF at least once? No way, dude. He clocked Gorilla Monsoon and was blackballed from the WWF. My pick? If you won't count Kobashi, certainly you'll count The Great Muta, right?

I would agree with this, if the question was clarified as "the greatest who never signed a contract with WWE", since AJ wrestled that one match on one of their C-Shows.

Uh... I'd never consider Sting the greatest to never step in a WWE ring... don't know who, but definitely not him.

Karl Gotch and George Hackenschmidt never wrestled for Vince. Karl Gotch did wrestle for Vince McMahon Sr.

If you won't count Kobashi, certainly you'll count The Great Muta, right? Muta did do some appearances in the 80's. They created a Japan-specific title for him that was quickly abandoned and forgotten about. Are we talking about pre-WWWF years? Was Lou Thesz still going by the time it was formed? If this is true about Sting, then Ole Anderson is now the only Horseman to have never wrestled for Vince. Nick Bockwinkel was always an AWA guy, so I don't think Vince ever got use of him. Jerry Jarrett, as far as I know never did either.
