Hey, now, I think the Rock has done at least somewhat decently for himself. I mean, he's at least recognizable for people beyond his wrestling career. The Rock's movies aren't that bad. The Scorpion King, Grid Iron Gang and The Game Plan were awesome! I liked Rundown and Get Smart too. He just did way too many live-action Disney movies.

Why does the WWE even bother making comedies? :/
Their comedy segments on Smackdown and Raw are, 9.9 times out of 10 lame, why do they think people would be interested in seeing 1 and a half hour of lame WWE style jokes?
They should stick to action movies. The Condemned, 12 rounds and the Marine films were at least were watchable and, in the case of The Condemned, I actually thought it was a decent movie. It was never gonna be a oscar winner but it was intended to be a fun, mindless, violent film full of fight scenes, gore and violence and it delivered in that respect.
Comedies just aren't the WWE's thing. Unless they put someone who is actually funny in the role, then it might actually work. Like William Regal, I could see him pulling off a comedy movie role quite well.

I think they should go for a different genre altogether. Action movies have, for the most part, become a joke. Unless there is a large budget to work with. How about more serious movies? There are a ton of talented writers out there who are waiting for their scripts to be discovered by somebody.

The Chaperone did squat while Big Mommas 3 did 17 million. Sometimes, there's no justice in the world. Both movies are equally horrid. Both should've been equally panned by movie-goers.

But you really can't compare them, because The Chaperone had 0 advertising outside of WWE programming and was only on 10 screens nationwide. Big Momma's 3 had ads all over the place and was on 2,821 screens.

Big Momma 3 still draws the fans of the first two movies.
WWE really should understand that the only genre of the movie industry where zero investment still lands big profit is porn.
By the way, this was the movie because of which we lost Batista?

WHy don't you let Cm Punk and Cabana have their way? Cannonball run remake with all the superstars. That would seriously register number 1 on box office.
