Its pretty obvious Cena is going over. They have just been putting him over everyone they have in order to convince the fans that boo otherwise. Its why he submitted HBK and HHH at consecutive WrestleManias, its why he has won feuds with Edge, Orton, JBL etc. It's why he has only lost 2 title matches at Mania out of the 8 he has been in, and one was from outside interference.

I think Cena has to win. Only because The Rock won over Hogan.

Hmm. I don't know.
Cena will be booed like f*** in Rock's hometown (a place he donates a lot of money to as well.) It may be silly booking to put Cena over Rock, because it will make Cena look like shit. Rock going over, shaking Cena's hand and giving him the respect on the other hand will make the ladies cry in the arena with joy and orgasms.

I wouldn't consider this match a passing of the torch as such. Cena snatched that torch a long time ago, and has ran with it since. Personally I think Cena will go over....and a riot will ensue in downtown Miami thereafter. Mind you, that's the only reason I feel Cena may end up being forced to job. Do you really have Rock wrestle his first match at WM in 8 years...in his hometown, only to lose to John Cena? Just...I can't see there being a good reaction for the most part to that. At least not live anyway.

yeah, the fact they will be in the rock's home town....i highly highly doubt Cena goes over since Cena will be really really really hated that night anyway...it could possibly be One Night Stand level's of hate.

This I could see. With upwards of 75,000 (75% at least being pro-Rock)...yeah thinking about it now...Cena can't win this. Plus, I've always been a Rock mark...and as an above poster said, I would die a little inside if I see him pinned by Cena of all people.

If this is a one-shot deal, I don't think theres any possible way Rock goes over. If Rock is back for a run, I could see him going over, but they're not going to make Cena job to a guy who is not going to be doing anything afterwards.

Unless he's a heel or gonna turn heel, a Cena win in Miami is a bad idea, IMO.
If WWE thinks they can make this another big babyface win for Cena, they're insane.

Cena will win. If he goes in as the heel and wins it will be even better. I can imagine an actual riot of kayfabe proportions.

Maybe they have Cena make Rock look like crap throughout the year...and by some miracle get Rock booed in his hometown. Let's be serious for a moment however. Rock could trash Miami from dusk til dawn, and they'd still chant his name. If there is an ounce of sanity left in Vince...there's no way he'd put Cena over Rock in Miami. Now let's say WM next year was in Toronto or Indianapolis. Cena would go over every time. It doesn't matter if Cena goes in as a heel either. In this situation, he's the heel even if he's 'classed' as a babyface.

I would say 0%, but I said the same for Miz beating Cena at 'Mania.
So I'll say 1%

Either way, I think chances of Rock beating Cena are higher than people think.
This isn't another Rock/Hogan situation, no matter how much some people wish it was. It's obvious the build up will be focusing on personal aspects between the two.

Rock will shake Cenas hand at the end

I say Mania 28 is the place to turn Cena heel, assuming by the time it rolls around he still has any crowd support left in the first place.

What would be the point of Rock coming into Mania, winning, then going away again?
I just don't see why Vince would feel the need to put Cena down like that.
The only way I see Rock winning is if he plans on going nearly full-time after 'Mania, which is highly unlikely in itself.

Normally they'd both have a 50-50 chance of winning the match. But since the Rock is the great one and the peoples champ, he gets an additional 25% chance of winning. And since Wrestlemania is in Rock's home town he takes Cena's 50% chance of winning. So if you take Rocks 75% chance of winning plus Cena's 50% chance of winning and throw in another 8% chance because Cena sucks, Rock has a 133% chance of winning. But since the Rock now has the odds of winning, and Cena's gimmick is overcoming the odds, Cena now has a 134% chance of winning at Wrestlemania. [/Steiner]
