I don't know if I ever threatened to stop watching it. I have no idea who I would threaten or if anyone would care if I stopped..
I will say that I probably caught about 5 episodes of RAW in their entirety last year. I just don't feel that need to watch the product like I did when I was younger..I can afford to miss a few episodes, watch some clips on WWE.com and feel like I'm all caught up.

I think it was in roughly 2008 where I told myself that if Hornswoggle wins the WWE or WHC Title, I'm done. That still stands but thankfully it doesn't seem likely anymore (there was a time where I honestly thought they might do it, lol).
I am however completely done with TNA.

Not any time I can remember. The landscape of it changes so often, the longest I've stepped out was about a year or two. By the time I come back, it generally feels fresh again.

Only once and I did just as I said. When Cena beat Edge at Unforgiven 2006 I said "that's it, I'm done. Only the return of Y2J can bring me back at this point".
Didn't watch WWE at all until Jericho came back.

The last time I threatened it I...pretty much stopped for watching for six years (2005, after Eddie's death).
Daniel Bryan and the Nexus brought me back, and guys like Morrison and Ziggler have kept me interested.

I do remember tuning in to see the last Nitro in 2001, and when Shane McMahon came out and I could see it was all leading to another McMahon angle... As a wrestling fan, I do regret missing the last Nitro. However, I'm sure that I would have been massively let down to see another McMahon angle coming, as you said.

Never. I don't get caught up in the armchair booking and so forth anymore, I just enjoy the show and if something is on that I don't like I turn the channel for a spell.

Never. There's never been anything that bothered me to a point that I was turned away from the business as a whole. I stopped watching from around 2005-2008, but that was mostly because I didn't have the means of watching/following it.

I've never threatened to stop watching it, that seems pretty silly. Like really, what is threatening to not watch anymore going to do? I just stop watching it until I choose to start watching it again.

Only 1 thing (HBK & God vs Vince) made me quit watching for a period longer than 1 week. Cole-A-Mania is coming close to being #2, which is fitting due to it being the shits.

I don't think I've ever threatened to stop watching it. I mean, there were times that I just didn't, either out of apathy or not having cable, but I've never consciously said "you know what, that's the last straw; I'm done with the 'E".

Like you said, threatened- can't recall any; just quit for weeks or months at a time outta boredom; say three or four.

I threw a fit after Dude Love attacked Stone Cold before his match with Mr. McMahon on Raw in 98. I was 12 and swore to God I've never watch again (was back next week obv). I didn't watch from like 03-07 but there wasn't a moment that made me say "I'm done", I just got bored and stopped making time for watching wrestling.

The unholy trifecta of the Invasion, Katie Vick and Al Wilson cause me to stop watching for at least a year and a half.

I did use to have a clause though where I said if Doink ever become WWF champion,I was done. I had one like that too. I used to say "If they ever bring in an evil clown, I stop watching" Then Doink showed up and I couldn't NOT watch what he was doing. Remember when he ripped off his own arm and beat Crush with it? Awesome.

Like you said, threatened- can't recall any; just quit for weeks or months at a time outta boredom; say three or four. Same here. Never threatened, just stopped at various points. Ive not completely cut myself off since about 2003 when I took a break, as even in recent years with time outs Id still read reports just for the hell of it.

I haven't threatened to quit watch WWE, yet. But with TNA I did because I was so outraged over Roxxi being fired (in 2010, after Sacrifice).

The only time I stopped watching was when Undertaker put Mideon into the Ministry. Not because it was bad, but I was young and the whole wrist slitting thing scared me . I don't think I watched again for about six months.
