I've shown signs of boredom with the product in 2006, but continued watching until 2007, which I think I stopped for a couple of weeks, at least not watching an entire show. I stopped watching alltogether after Wrestlemania 25. It was that bad of a show that made me not want to come back afterwards. I've tried several times to get back into it, but I never managed to watch a full show since(except for Royal Rumbles).

I sort of drifted away from watching wrestling completely sometime after WM9. I was just a kid then, and was beginning to realise that it was all scripted etc, and that hit me pretty hard. It wasn't actually until a few years ago that I watched some old matches out of nostalgia and ended up wanting that buzz again. Now, as an adult, I can enjoy it for what it is while still suspending my disbelief.
I've never made any threats or anything, it just sort of happened that first time. Even now, I don't make threats. It's only in the last year or so that I've stopped watching every single PPV, because I'm sick of all the themed shows, like Fatal Fourway, Hell In A Cell, etc. I've never thought "Ah, I'm gonna stop watching this crap" full stop, but usually if I think a PPV is going to suck, I'll stick to my guns and not order it, but still watch RAW and SD.
Whenever I read the results of the PPVs I do pass on, I've usually felt pretty vindicated with my decision!
