Would you really buy it if your American Dragon was booked to end Undertaker's streak at next year's WM?

That's a tough one. I guess it depends on a number of circumstances, how he was booked, how the match was booked. Not just my personal bias, but the same would go for most people.

Nope. If HBK couldn't do it in two attempts, DBD wouldn't be able to either. Now, if they booked him like they did in ROH, had him go heel, grow back the beard and book him incredibly strong for a couple of years, I could see him taking the Undertaker to the limit but not quite defeating him. Which would still cement him as a big time main eventer.

It would have to be important. At this stage, no. They haven't really made DBD look all that great to be perfectly honest so it would be ludicrous for him to end the streak. If they build him up well into next year and HOPEFULLY gave him the American Dragon moniker, then yes. But the story would have to be great and IMO it'd have to be clear that Taker is on his last legs.

Have to agree with Andrew is Good really, but, no, as a DBD fan, I think it'd be very hard to book realistically or in any way that wouldn't leave it feeling flat.

Not at this stage of DBD's WWE career, no. With proper build of the character and the feud, sure. I mean, I was fully prepared to buy Shawn ending it, and Shawn is small and old and his offense looks pretty weak, SCM excepted. I don't suspend disbelief enough, I guess. I could buy just about anyone taking Taker out at this stage of his career. Every aging gunman either gets out of the game or gets gunned down the first day his draw is too slow. It happens to everyone eventually.

No. Besides, if Undertaker can beat Big Show AND A-Train in a handicap match, then it just wouldn't logistically make sense for Bryan to beat him by himself.

If Taker was healthy, I think it could be a really good match.
But I wouldn't want Dragon to end the streak. No one should at this point.

I'm one of the biggest DBD marks in the world, and I couldn't see it happening.
I always find it funny how DBD's fans are stereotyped as wanting him to go over everyone, but the general reaction (as seen in this thread) seems to be, "Eh, as long as he's having good matches and winning a bit, who cares."

i'd be ok with it if he was pushed beyond the moon in the buildup, and they started building towards him vs Undertaker months in advance.

Not at this point of his career. It'd take alot of effort in building him as a serious threat for it to work.

I can't at all. As talented as Danielson is, it would be an insult to all the other men, some of them legit HOF'ers, who tried to dethrone the winning streak. Of all talent currently on the WWE roster, I can only see John Cena and Triple H being the men worthy of pulling off the task. However, this is Triple H's second attempt, and Cena has hardly wrestled the man in recently years, so I think Cena going against 'Taker would be a much bigger deal.

It'd have to be some real kung fu stuff "You defeated my master, and I am here to avenge him!"
..and even then, no.

If that happens, a lot of people on this board will say that DBD is overexposed, and WWE is forcing him down our throats.
