It could had been worst. He could had been squashed by Sheamus in a 2 minute match.

I can see it as being some sort of work, mainly because I don't know how rigorously the WWE monitors their guys Twitter accounts, but Ziggler doesn't really have enough pull/tenure to get away with tweets like that. I could see it if it were Cena, Punk, Orton, or Austin, but Ziggler isn't quite up their level yet.
That said, Vince is a crazy dude so who knows?

In some ways it reminds me a Chinese restaurant that was near the campus when I was in college, they had Chinese food, but they also sold subs. The subs were incredible, there was some sort of sauce that made them so tasty, so word got around campus and tons of students started going over there to get subs. At lunchtime it was packed. However, whenever someone ordered a sub, the owner would ask if they wouldn't rather have a Chinese dish, and if you said no he would act mad at you for ordering a sub in his restaurant. He wanted to be known for his Chinese food, and not the subs. Eventually he quit offering subs, and people quit going and he went out of business.
The point is Economics 101 is supply and demand. People have a demand to see Ryder, to cheer for him, to buy his merchandise, but the WWE won't supply it, they want to stick to serving only Chinese food.

So even if it's not a work, I doubt anything would happen to Ziggler.

It could be a coincidence or that could be part of the reason why. It's probably more likely that the WWE has no ideas what there guys are saying on Twitter, but just something to consider.

Ziggler makes his love of porn (especially Brazzers) VERY well known on Twitter so I think his leash isn't very tight either

Ryder should be thankful he didn't get the treatment like the rest of the roster whenever they're in their hometown. Only few people escaped hometown humiliation.

He wanted to be known for his Chinese food, and not the subs. Eventually he quit offering subs, and people quit going and he went out of business. Wait... this really happened? Wow, people are so weird. If I went out in the street and scratched my nuts, and people started giving me money (in increasing amounts, no less!), well, I'd keep right on scratching until the money stopped rolling in (or at least slowed down considerably). Now, that's something to be embarassed of! This is sort of like when bands make a lot of money playing one style of music, but refuse to keep playing in their own style because they "want to be taken seriously" or whatever, and then get all uppity when people stop buying their records and generally caring about them. It just doesn't make any sense to me. Digression aside, though... push Zack Ryder. I mean, seriously. Most times you have to work really hard to get the shot, however every once in a while life will give you an easy layup. C'mon, just take the layup. If you miss, yeah, you missed a layup and that looks bad in that moment, but the odds just totally dictate otherwise. I really just want to find Vince in public somewhere, grab him and scream it in his face. Not because Zack's suddenly my favorite wrestler or anything, but just because it's good business!

And jobbing on TV is much better than never appearing at all. And he probably would have gotten the biggest pop of the night, just from showing up to the ring. Hardly a humiliation, whether he wins or loses.

I'm not sure if it'll help it's career, but it's certainly helping Zack's popularity at the moment that he isn't getting used.

Someone's jobbing on Sunday. Funny that these guys get angrier about a lower midcarder than they do about themselves, though. lol.

I'm annoyed by all the Ryder stuff, but even I think they should at least give him a shot. Now would be the time for a fun loving babyface midcarder.

He needs to find some talent and Dolph ain't got any to spare. Any wrestler whose most memorable attribute is a manager (Dolpd) is just plain losuy. Eddie G could kick his ass even now.

Dolph's most memorable attribute is a manager? Half the time I forget he even has Vickie. If anything his most memorable attribute is his hair. And seriously... Dolph not having talent? Ummm... Well, that's your opinion I guess.
