This guy has quite a few haters amongst the IWC. Let us take the time to say something nice about Rey Mysterio.
I will start. He is a better technician than I gave him credit for. (I also noticed that he looked a lot taller then.)

Rey is an amazing wrestler that gets a lot of undue hate for some reason. He's one of the most influential wrestlers of all time. A true legend in wrestling.

He can still perform well despite his knee problems.
We share the same ethnicity.

He is an awesome wrestler that is consistently able to put on good matches with most people and one of the greatest of all time. He isn't anywhere near the same level he used to be at but he is still better than most of the current roster.

Chris Jericho helped him out in putting on one hell of a trilogy in 2009, culminating in one of Mysterio's all-time greats at The BASH!

He used to be an amazing wrestler before injuries took their toll and limited what he can do in the ring.

He was up there with Cena and RVD as my favourite guys on Smackdown when I first got into WWE.

While I'm sick of his schtick, he is undoubtedly a very good worker who I enjoy watching most of the time, especially if he's in the ring with Jericho or Punk.

He's a talented wrestler, a legend, and anyone saying he's 'too small' to be a believable main eventer are full of horsecrap.

His feud with Tajiri is one of my favorites ever match-wise.

All our beloved indie darling vanilla midgets wouldn't be given a second glance by WWE if Rey hadn't spent the last fifteen years working his ass off to prove that smaller, acrobatic guys could be major draws in the US.

I can't say enough nice things about Rey Mysterio. Sure, he may be booked wrong sometimes but that's hardly his fault. He usually delivers in the ring, even though his body is beyond broken down at this point.

I enjoyed his work with The Filthy Animals, and just about everything that followed.
Rey has earned every title he's held.

Rey was not involved in the atrocities of the Holocaust (probably)

Rey always gives me a straw when I forget one.
In all seriousness, Rey is awesome. His body is not what it used to be, but he has shown that he can still go in the ring time and time again.

He reminds me of my friend Laith. They're the same height, and they have the exact same speaking voice.
Laith's a good guy.

Can still remember watching his first match on ECW TV (the 2 out of 3 falls match with Psicosis, their second match in the company) and just thinking "Holy....shit." In his prime, his matches were must-watches. Even with busted up knees, he still can put on great matches.
I also find the the touching heads with masked kids on the way to the ring to be cool...sweet, even. Drop your hard-won cynicism for a second, Rey haters. Imagine you're that kid. How awesome would that be? No other wrestler interacts that much with the crowd during their entrance and he has to make those kids' year when he does that.

He's never the guy that blocks your view at gigs (unless you're Hornswoggle).
