Yeah pretty much still marking out. First time I've watched a match with my hands in front of my face since I was a kid. This surpasses Jericho's WWE debut in the top mark-outs category. Seriously last night took me back to a much better time in wrestling and it felt GOOOOD.

Anyone who still clings to the 'Cena cant wrestle' card, needs to watch last nights match.
That was the best match Ive ever seen out of him. (and before anyone says it, NO, it was not Punk carrying him)

Bill Simmons (@sportsguy33) said it best on Twitter; "Now that's what I'm talking about! I'm calling DirecTV + telling them to double bill me for that PPV, I feel like I underpaid."You see, this is the right attitude to have. WWE, you've got a moneymaker on your hands. Don't blow it.

So I have to ask...is Punk still a heel? It's not really a good thing, kayfabe wise, that he made off with the belt. On the other hand though, Cena basically helped him out.

I was in serious mark moment last night. Every near fall & finisher attempt had me cringing and jumping up in my seat. It was an awesome match & the finish was beautiful. Cena got to do what a lot of people wanted to, and punch Johnny Ace!

So I have to ask... is Punk still a heel? It's not really a good thing, kayfabe wise, that he made off with the belt. On the other hand though, Cena basically helped him out. That's the question that surprisingly few people seem to be asking. He was certainly face by the time MITB went off-air, but was that just a case of being cheered by the Chicago crowd? Was it just that he was flying in the face of Vince? If he shows up tonight on Raw, how will he be treated? Does he even have a job? Moments like this, when almost infinite questions can be raised, are too few and far between in recent times (ironically, probably the last time we had so many storyline possibilities was the last time John Cena was 'fired'), and it's good to see the WWE are seemingly striking while the iron is hot.

I still don't believe it.
Punk ACTUALLY didn't resign, and he's got the title....
Just watched the match and my heart is still pumping.

The question is: how long an extension did Punk sign?

Match of the Year. Without question. A WHITE HOT crowd, two guys with great chemistry, a fantastic backstory, plenty of drama and an amazing finish. A star was made last night.

... I just rewatched it. Punk even snuck in the Savage Tribute Pose on the top turnbuckle.
CM PUNK IS WRESTLING.

I can't remember having an experience like that watching a WWE PPV in a while. My heart was pounding during the main event.
I mean, for a Pay-Per-View to feature two ladder matches and with Christian in a WHC match.. but making me want to see the main event all night long, that's something right there.
Perfect PPV from start to finish. Just awesome.

Loved it when Punk was hi-tailing it backstage. Having worked at the Allstate Arena as an usher, as well as go there for Chicago Wolves' hockey games, that made me smile.
Its the little things that count! ;D

Damn that was amazing, I was a mark again for the duration of that match, its nights like that which remind you why you like wrestling.
Just something I haven’t seen mentioned in this thread (but I’m somebody mentioned it somewhere) is how well they played up to the screwjob. When Cena locked in his first submission hold Punk wagged his finger at the ref as if to say “don’t you dare”, Cole followed it up on commentary and also managed to give a precedent for the belt situation and of course Vince played his role perfectly.

You know what really sent chills down my spine? The moment Punk throws his leg over the barricade and the crowd just erupts, knowing that the magnificent bastard pulled it off.
Seriously... I could watch the ending of this match all night, but I need my beauty sleep.

This is probably one of my top 10 favorite matches of all time...and I NEVER say that with matches right after they happen.

Good lord...absolutely phenomenal performance from both men.
Easily one of the best WWE title matches of the past decade, if not ever.

Just wondering, is Punk the first person to hit Cena when he does the whole "You can't see me" Schtick before the 5 Knuckle Shuffle? Because if so, why has no one done it before!?

Im still in shock, awe and disbelief! I havnt been this excited for Raw in YEARS. Truely an incredible PPV (especially with the feeling of watching it live). Major props go to Cena and Punk for being complete work horses and creating a great main event with selling, intensity and storytelling. I tip my hat to the WWE.
