The question is: how long an extension did Punk sign? He might not have signed one at all. It always seemed unlikely for me that of all the dates in the calendar for his contract to expire, the day after the PPV in his hometown was it.

I don't get it. At all. It's kind of a small horse, I mean what am I missing? Am I crazy?

I still think if he was on his way out, there's no way he gets his amazing angle as a send off

I mean BOTCH CITY. I loved the match, but did this bother anyone? The weird powerbomb catch, or him falling flat on his ass after the FU counter?
It just annoyed me more than a little, after all the "best in the world" hoopla, and me having seen Punk do WAY better.
Thought this deserved its own notice, as it really distracted from everything.

Honestly, I was too invested in the match to really be annoyed with little slip ups.

I would figure if you took an FU onto your tailbone it would hurt maybe even more than a normal FU.

There was few moments of sloppiness from both of them if I recall but it was nothing near worth bothering over.
I can't remember where I read it (possibly someone posted it on here) but I thought it was a good point. A real fight isn't pretty and perfect. The reason i'm personally not a fan of John Morrison is because his wrestling just looks fake (my opinion, *holds up flame shield*), the same reason i'm not a fan of Cena's comebacks (the opponent with the wild punch into protobomb is the worst). A couple of rough moments in a match makes it feel a little more real to me.

Seriously, how was he going to get out of an FU by landing on his feet. People complain too much. It looks better that way, like he really found away to escape the move, than some contrived lucha crap.
The powerbomb spot wasn't a good idea because he's not big enough to do it. Then again, Batista did it and f***ed up Cena's neck.
This is the problem with WWE style, they suck all the spontaneity out of wrestling.
Go watch Ciclope Malenko vs. Jericho on Youtube and come back to me. That match is a mess, with two great workers, and it doesn't take anything away from the match and the storyline.

A couple of rough moments in a match makes it feel a little more real to me. That's what I got from it. It more or less added to the intensity and intimidation of the situation. This wasn't just a WWE title match. This was THE WWE title match. The belt was gone if Punk won it in front of his hometown fans. He's under pressure, Cena's under pressure, the feeling and tension is sky high so yeah, both guys were going to mess up their regular routines because, well, this situation is massive. That's how I interpreted it anyway. It'd bother me if it was built differently but for a situation like this, I'll allow it.

Just wondering, is Punk the first person to hit Cena when he does the whole "You can't see me" Schtick before the 5 Knuckle Shuffle? Because if so, why has no one done it before!? Trips pedigree'd his ass during the 5 Knuckle Shuffle one time

I didn't see it and it sounds hilarious.

Trips pedigree'd his ass during the 5 Knuckle Shuffle one time I think he meant, as the opponent is on the mat, looking up at the lights, awaiting for Cena to do the hand taunt? For some weird reason, it reminded me of the People's Elbow and how 'Taker rose up (before being kicked back down and getting the elbow)

I didn't see it and it sounds hilarious. It was in the build to the WM they headlined where the crowd was in Trips' corner. I don't remember exactly how it happened, I think he did the taunt, then Trips no sold everything when he went off the ropes, got up, kicked him in the gut and Pedigree'd him. It was awesome but also kinda out of line since Trips was the heel and was getting face heat. lol. I can't find it on Youtube, you'd think it'd be there, but it's probably buried in some match or segment like Snitsky's baby punt

Triple H waited out the entire match, Pedigreed Cena when he was about to do the Five Knuckle Shuffle, then finished off Edge.
