I still don't understand why people want Bret in the hall of fame yesterday. In all fairness, yes he deserves to be in but it's just too soon. He didn't become a real star til 92-93. There are plenty of people from the 80s who aren't in yet. I liked last year seeing an entire class of inductees who really hit their mark in 85. There should be some sort of 20 year rule, much like the Rock N Roll Hall of Fame's 25 year rule.
I could go on and on about who I want to induct but it would take years.
Tony Garea has been overlooked for years and it's a shame.

Just not this year. There are plenty of guys who were top names in the business 20 years ago while Bret was just really getting into the picture. I'm just saying there's no rush for Bret, Owen, Austin, Rock, etc when there are guys that are being overlooked.

Terry Funk Legion of Doom Ted DiBiase
Those are the main 3 i'd like to see get inducted. I really hope they don't put Eddie in because that would seem really cheap. As somewhat harsh it is to say, i'll say it, Death doesn't make you a legend.

I hope Eddie isnt inducted THIS YEAR. That said, maybe this year would be the only year for it to have a huge impact, with his passing still fresh in our memories (And will probably stay fresh, if Rey continues to dedicate his main event one to Eddie)
Animal and Hawk would be great inductions I agree with Okerlund Jake Roberts Bob Backlund The Hart Foundation (hey if your gonna do it, ya cant leave out the Anvil, for petes sake Jimmy Hart is an inductee)

Until they put Owen Hart, Brian Pillman, Davey Boy Smith, or Lord Alfred Hayes, they shouldn't put Eddie in yet.
It's too soon for Eddie, maybe 4 - 6 years down the line. Putting him in now would just fuel the "WWE is leaching Eddie" people, and then they might have a point.

I agree with those who are choosing Hawk and Animal as inductions. The event is going to be in Chicago so it would be pretty fitting that a deserving tag team would get the Hall of Fame spot and be presented on the next night for 'Mania in Chicago.

Assuming there are 8 entrants, I'll go ahead and pick these entrants:
Arnold Skaaland Bob Backlund Ted Dibiase Mene Gene Dusty Rhodes LOD (Hawk and Animal will count as one entrant since they were a team)..and there were hints dropped about this at the Royal Rumble...about Animal never main eventing Eddie (his memory is still fresh, and you know WWE will push his death as an angle even more) Superstar Billy Graham
I think inducting Bret will happen next year, as he isn't too keen on returning just yet. In addition, I think they will focus on Eddie's death as the main theme.

I'll do 7...
2 time WWF tag team champion, Rick Martel (if his weaker Strike Force counter part is in, might as well induct the best wrestler of all time).
Eddy Guerrero (because exploitation never dies).
Curt Henning (he'd be the perfect entry).
Bob Backland (well, pretty obvious).
Legion of Doom (because being inducted into the Hall of Fame may be the only way they can take down those darn SuperFriends).
Tommy Dreamer (ignoring ECW is outlandish, and who better then Dreamer for ECW?)
Ricky Steamboat or Dusty Rhodes (maybe both, they're easy to get in contact with, and they do deserve it, yup).
