It is that time of year when people start talking about the WWE Hall of Fame. Last year, we had a new thread every couple of hours about who should be in. So, to prevent that happening this year. Please use this thread to discuss who you think should be inducted, who you think shouldn't be inducted and any announcements of inductees on wwe programming.
And for the record, this is the full list as of January 2006 of all the Inductees.
Andre the Giant Antonino Rocca Arnold Skaaland Baron Mikel Scicluna Ernie Ladd Big John Studd Superstar Billy Graham Bob Orton Jr Bobby Heenan Bobo Brazil Buddy Rogers Capt Lou Albano Chief Jay Strongbow Don Muraco The Fabulous Moolah Fred Blassie George Steele Gorilla Monsoon Greg Valentine Harley Race Hulk Hogan Ivan Putski James Dudley Jesse Ventura Jimmy Hart Jimmy Snuka Johnny Rodz Junkyard Dog Killer Kowalski Nikolai Volkoff Pat Patterson Paul Orndorff Pedro Morales Roddy Piper Pete Rose Sgt. Here are the people who should be in the class of 2006
-Bret Hart -Jake Roberts -Ted Dibiase -Dusty Rhodes -The Road Warriors -"Mean" Gene Okurland -Mr. Perfect -Randy Savage
I think that's a good run through anyway. I would hope Savage gets inducted anyway, even though he may not be on the WWE's side right now. He's still a great talent.

The biggest cert is Okerlund. He just capsulates 80s wrestling. You think of Hulk Hogan, you think of Mean Gene. And if Gorilla and Bobby are already in there, he needs to take his rightful place and perhaps the most famous wrestling broadcast personality of all time.

I've never really been that a big a fan of Mean Gene. I love late 80's WWf, however, there is no real rhyme or reason for it, I just don't like the guy. But as you said, he encapsulates a certain period so I understand the reasoning.

You're right about The Fink. I forgot about him. I once heard he was the first ever employee hired by the old WWF. He's another stalwart in wrestling...PPVs are never as good without his classic announcing (sorry Lilian).

I have been campaigning for The Fink to be in the HOF for over a year now.
Well, by campaigning I mean having a picture in my sig and the words "Finkel should be in the HOF" underneath it. Because we all know Vince lurks here in his spare time.

www.jimmcmahon.com/Am I the oldest person on these boards? Seriously, I think the Class will be Bret and Owen Hart, Bulldog and Dynamite, Eddie Guerrero, Ted DiBiasi, The Road Warrriors, and Mean Gene Okerland.

I know who Jim McMahon is, he was the guy who gave the ball to Walter Payton and told him to run.

Rey is creaming his pants, desperately wanting to induct Eddie. He'll wear a special mask with a mullet, come out to Eddie's music, drive Eddie's lowrider, dedicate the speech to Eddie, wear an Eddie t-shirt, point to Eddie, dance like Eddie, then frog splash the audience and drive away singing "Lie, Cheat, Steal".
