That one was one of the biggest mysterys of all time. I know it happened during the war, which means there's cheap, readily available programming for everyone, I'm also guessing there was a price jump that year.

Idk, I was taking a break at that point, just...holy crap. That had a hell of an undercard! Shawns first Mania match in 5 years! That's just baffling.

The rumor I heard is that from Mania 20 and onwards, international buys were included in the above reported numbers, while they weren't for the previous entries. Which might not only explain the Mania 19 thing, but would also make the numbers comparison illegitimate. Don't know whether that's true or not, though.
