Cena was basically right, huh? He could add to his in ring game, have awesome matches, whatever, and he'd still get these chants.
This is one of those chants I dislike, that and "You f***ed up".

I still like how Big Show countered it one time;
fans: You Can't Wreste Show: I DON'T HAVE TO!

Just the moaning of some smarks who want to feel special and "in the know". Stupid when they are doing the chant, Cena was actually wrestling.

They don't chant it because they actually think that he can't wrestle. They just chant it in an attempt to get under his skin. That, or they actually don't like his style of wrestling.

As much as I wanna say that it's smark elitism or trying to get under his skin, at this point, I think it's just routine. It's like the "You Suck" chants at Kurt Angle; we all know damn well he doesn't suck, but it just caught on. I don't think anyone really thinks Cena can't wrestle, it's just what they do.

I don't get it because Cena has proven time and time again that he is a very good wrestler who consistantly has great matches, especially on PPV's were the Cena match is usually the match of the night.

At this rate, you wonder what Cena would actually have to do?
Does he have to do that lame "Spin around your opponent's back and slap him in the back of the head over and over again" spot?

Cena will never get the recognition because hes so predictable. The Rock/Punk/Stone Cold are great because you never knew what they were gonna do, Cena will never get it.

Other than Punk, I could make a very good guess as to what Rock and Austin would do. Hell I'd say Cena adds more new stuff than the Rock did.

Cena will never get the recognition because hes so predictable. The Rock/Punk/Stone Cold are great because you never knew what they were gonna do, Cena will never get it. 2 of those 3 had very close to the exact same moveset every match. And Cena has been adding moves on and off as of late. Your argument fails

Wasn't Austin going to punch you, then punch you some more, then do a Lou Thez Press? Then Stunner. Rock was also going to punch you, but flail wildly while doing it, then hit a Rock bottom, then go bug-eyed when he didn't get the pin, then do another and a People's elbow. I like those guys, but I've very rarely been surprised by their matches and don't see how they're not as predictable as any main-eventer.

Cena could have the same moveset of Daniel Bryan and they still would chant it.

Cena's speech about "increasing his workrate" was totally right. He can't win over certain people.
Dude has been having amazing matches pretty much every PPV. The only time he hasn't was when he was stuck up against the Miz, and he still pulled good to very good matches pretty consistently. The only other people who were able to have matches of that quality with the Miz were Daniel Bryan and Rey Mysterio.

Reminds me of ONS 2006:
Fans: "Same old shit!" Cena: [goes to the top rope and hits RVD with an axe-handle] Fans: "You still suck!"

Reminds me of ONS 2006: Fans: "Same old s***!" Cena: [goes to the top rope and hits RVD with an axe-handle] Fans: "You still suck!" ;D That was my favorite part, outside of them throwing his merchandise back at him. That perfectly sums up the Anti-Cena line of thinking. It really doesn't matter what he does. Those that dislike him will do so regardless.

Selling and telling a story is part of "wrestling" Cena does not get it. He never looks tired because he never is tired. He thinks careers are made in the Gym.

I think he is acceptable at it, but not great, personally. Put him in there with someone who is a master at it, and he puts on great matches. I'd never expect Cena to elevate a match though.

I still think his most impressive series was in 2007 against Great Khali. Shawn and Hunter come to mind as two guys who couldn't have a good match with him. Cena had two. That was one of the turning point moments for me.
