There might be some resolution in the long-running soap opera of Jeff Hardy legal proceedings. According to ProWrestling.net: TNA star Jeff Hardy was put on one-hour notice today in a Moore County, N.C. courtroom. The judge met at his stand with Hardy's attorney and a man identified as the assistant district attorney for Stanley County. After Hardy's attorney James Van Camp waved Hardy out of the room, the judge announced that Hardy would have a one-hour notice to return to court once his case is called later today.
Powell's POV: It still appears as though there will be a resolution today, but only time will tell. Chris Shore is still at the courthouse and will be passing along updates as they happen. www.prowrestling.net/artman/publish/TNA/article10019254.shtml

Okay. Who wants to bet that the state of North Carolina actually pays him money as Hardy walks out a free man, with a smile on his face, wearing a "Me > Law" T-shirt?

Which was longer Hardy v. State of North Carolina or Angle v. Jarrett?
If he gets off with no real punishment he'll be back in TNA in about a week, clean or not.

At least this case hasn't had as many pointless matches as Angle v Jarrett

Nah, this won't be the payoff. The only proper way to end it is a Hardy vs. Judge ladder match with Jeff's freedom on the line.

Yeah, nevermind:
The Jeff Hardy court hearing is expected to be pushed back to later this week. Sources are under the impression that the case will be heard on Thursday in Moore County, N.C., but nothing is official.
Powell's POV: There are other cases on the docket that are scheduled to be heard prior to Hardy's hearing. Although he could technically be called back to court at any time, the word at the courthouse is that it will not occur today and is unlikely to occur on Tuesday.

If it turns out that Jeff is doing time I can already see the constant Matt Hardy tweets about never believing what you read about Jeff going to jail despite him indisputably being in jail.

When the dust has settled on this whole thing, some one needs to write a book or a detailed chronicling of this ordeal.

When the dust has settled on this whole thing, some one needs to write a book or a detailed chronicling of this ordeal. It's not that uncommon, really. It'd just be a book of "Defense wanted an extension. It was granted. Prosecution wanted an extension. It was granted."

If Jeff goes to jail, will Matt do everything in his power to get sent to jail as well?

If Jeff goes to jail, will Matt do everything in his power to get sent to jail as well? Depends. Can he still make videos from jail?

I've heard they're pushing it back 'til Thursday due to the amount of cases on the docket.

I've heard they're pushing it back 'til Thursday due to the amount of cases on the docket. Yeah the "one-hour" thing is SOP, basically it means be no more than One Hour away from the Courtroom on a certain day. They want to make sure you don't get a "Failure to Appear" just because of poor timing/scheduling. From the sounds of things on Thursday we're gonna get SOMETHING done.
