You know the guys hardly nobody knew about, but you love or loved..
Mine is Scott Norton I thought he was a Powerhouse straight out of a Stalone movie in WCW
Also honorable mention goes to WCW Reno back in the day
Loved Prince Albert and all his characters.. glad he is finding success in Japan

Alan West and Earthquake Ferris from the ESPN era of the AWA...as a kid, I always cheered them on, even though the former was usually on the losing end.

He's not that obscure but the Destroyer. The guy is just a treat to watch mat wrestle and he had a great mask. Did incredibly in Japan and in the old territories but he's not mentioned much these days.

I don't know if he counts as obscure but I have always been a huge Josh Prohibition fan he is a great heel and a solid wrestler I think he would be good in ROH or TNA

How's this for obscure? The Big Green Machine.
NWA, around 1988, a big fat guy in a green body suit and mask with a design on the front that looked like a white waffle. He destroyed another masked wrestler named El Negro (he was black, way to go bookers), finishing him off with five elbow drops in a row. I marked out because I loved the masked guys but they never ever won. I only saw him that one time and I had hoped he would return.
If anyone knows what I'm talking about, validate me. Somebody out there must have seen it too.

"Maniac" Mike Davis and the "Conan" Chris Walker from the old GWF. Oh yeah, Chris Walker. Him and (I think) Saun Simpson were a really good tag team in GWF. I remember when he came to the WWF and I thought he was going to be huge. Then he got squashed by the Warlord twice and I never saw him again.

Mark Starr and Chris Champion (legit brothers) tagged as Wildside in Memphis. I enjoyed them. Also Iceman King Parsons and Brickhouse Brown as the Blackbirds.

"Wildman" Jack Armstrong, Sunny Beach, Steve "The Wild Thing" Ray, Onyx, Brady Boone, and Rip Rogers. Does Pez Whatley count?

Unless you were a big ICW fan, yeah, I'd say Pistol Pez counts. Almost everybody else would only know him as an older jobber on WCW Saturday Night.

Kenzo Suzuki.
Bad gimmick but I still was amused: "I like to look as handsome as Tom Cruise *cheesy smile*."

Obscure is in the eye of the beholder:
Dick Slater, well-known in his day, is my all-time fave, but hardly anyone of the current generation has heard of him
Disco Inferno always had a lot of appeal for me
Currently in the indies, and probably well-known in those circles, I mark for Brodie Lee
