I do kind of want to see the film, but i'll wait till it shows up on cable some sunday afternoon. That said, its got plenty of promotion, Milla is treating it like its on the level of "The Beaver" or "Idiocracy" or some other film that got zero commercials.

Jeez, I see an ad for it at the fricken Cheeburger I go to. Plus, she's the center of the damn ads. It seriously should be retitled "Milla Jovovich and the Three Musketeers".

Apparently, from what I'm reading, about the filM: {Spoiler}Milla is the super-thief villain who the Musketeers have to foil from starting a war by getting back a necklace she takes off the Queen before escaping on her Da Vinci designed Pirate Boat Lifted by a Big Balloon. If you read the spoiler and it didn't make much sense, you might understand more from this Spoiler-Packed Article from Moviefone about the film. Warning...they didn't like it. At all. Also, profanity. Ugh. Seriously, she needs to be banned on working on any film her husband directs, because it basically becomes a venture in showing us her pretty and awesome at everything she is. It takes the piss!

As ridiculous and stupid as it is for an audience, there's something oddly charming about a guy who is this in love.
Or maybe he's so whipped she won't let him make a movie without putting her in it and making her more powerful than Dr Manhattan.

Odd. I've seen a lot of Three Musketeers trailers myself on television, Youtube, and other forms of advertisement. My guess is she's upset that it looks like it'll bomb? It's going against PA3, Real Steel is still going strong, and Footloose?

I'm writing my Good Bad and Ugly review for the movie now, up at my site, Mikey's Singular Reviews, soon *cheap plug*I will say this, though:
This movie.......is good.
I liked the action and the comedy bits worked. Not a lot of Milla, to be honest, and only 1 real scene of her Alice-ing it up.
The 3D is really pointless, though. 2D is good enough. Plus the guy they got for Louis is so camp, it makes Adam West look like Christian Bale.

If they're afraid that not enough people will see it, maybe they should hand out multi-passes.

Knew it, Real Steel would divide the action movie audience, and thus take away from Three Musketeers.

Ouch. Though, I feel strange how $12 of that gross is mine. Still, it apparently did well overseas with 51 million, so it's about 30 mill short of getting back the budget. I doubt it'll do that in theaters, though.
