The most straight forward question you can ever ask a fan of WWE- who is your all time favourite WWE wrestler, and why?
My pick is Stone Cold Steve Austin. I sometimes think it's forgotten these days just how much he absolutely revolutionized the business- their was never anyone like him before or since. His promos, his look, his (underrated) ability to put on a classic match, and just his overall aura. He is to me the complete package when it comes to being a WWE wrestler.

The Rock.
...Which is weird because I'm finding him pretty unlikeable in his feud with Cena.
Bret Hart/HBK/Jericho are close runners-up.

All time would be Serena. She's an amazing, amazing wrestler- in my opinion, one of the most talented- and she seems so friendly and down-to-earth, as well. My favourite thing about her is her passion for wrestling- you just take one look at her and you can tell she loves it. She's definitely my favourite wrestler, as well as my biggest inspiration (I don't want to go into wrestling, but I just find her to be a really positive role-model).
If someone were to then look at me and say she doesn't count because she wasn't in the WWE that long and only wrestled one televised match, I'd give my back-up answer of CM Punk. Again, absolutely amazing wrestler, and he's the one that got me so, so into wrestling. If I hadn't latched onto enjoying watching him and the SES so much, I'm really not sure if I'd be as into WWE as I am today.
Close up behind those two is Joey Mercury, who I personally find to be hugely underrated. Another one I think is really talented, and I love the little mannerisms and such that he adds to his character. It makes me sad to know that it's almost certain we won't see him wrestling again on WWE tv. I can't help but wonder what his career could have been if he hadn't had the addiction problems that he had.
And some of you might call me crazy for this, but Hunico might end up as another runner-up. I'm not kidding. He has made me so incredibly excited to watch wrestling again, and I'm absolutely glued to the tv during his matches, even though they're always so short. The last time I was this fanatically excited about something in wrestling was when I first started watching, and soooo impatient all week waiting to see what the SES was gonna get up to on Fridays!

Stone Cold Steve Austin. The epitome of cool in the 90s and an outstanding wrestler to top it off. Even after Owen broke his neck.

Runners up: Bret Hart, Eddie Guerrero, Kurt Angle, HHH, Undertaker, 1980's Hogan, JBL, and Rock (even though I now want Cena to kick his ass) EDIT: Forgot Ric Flair during his 1991-1993 run.

It's always been Bret Hart, as far as I'm concerned.
(Sting is my #1, in case you were wondering.)

Just everything you could ask for in a wrestler, he was the total package. Constantly stole the show with awesome match after awesome match, always got huge reactions and one of the funniest guys in wrestling to boot. I still live by the three I's.

Shawn Michaels.
It's cheesy to go with one of their little catch phrases for him, but I do consider him the best big match wrestler I've ever seen. Ultimately while he falls behind other favorites of mine like Rock and Jericho for promo ability and to a certain extent charisma, he's the best consistent WRESTLER I've watched in my life and it amazes me how his second run in the company at the age he was progressing towards ended up giving me almost all ten of the best HBK matches I can name. True legend.

Stone Cold and The Rock are a dead heat. When I was younger, it was Steamboat.

Mr. Perfect. My favorite gimmick ever, and an awesome wrestler as well. Of course when I was like 9 I didn't care about how good of a wrestler he was, I just thought it was awesome that he could succeed in fantastic fashion at every single thing he did.

Chris Jericho. From the time I started watching wrestling, he was entertaining, could do comedy and serious stuff equally well, and rather than just relying on the same old sad catchphrases from the 90s like a few names I could mention, he's tried to reinvent himself a few times. His was the first WWE DVD set I got, and I didn't regret it. The documentary was fascinating, and loved seeing more of his WCW stuff.
Runner ups: Bret Hart, Wade Barrett, Drew McIntyre, Mick Foley.

Shawn Michaels, the showstopper, the icon, the main event. Followed up by Bret Hart, The Rock, Razor Ramon/Scott Hall, Raven, Chris Jericho, CM Punk, and Daniel Bryan. I'm trying to think of anyone else and make a top ten. Matt Hardy used to be in this list, until the fake suicide note.

Chris Jericho, since I saw my first wrestling show. I was so young, but no matter what he did, face or heel, he was always my favorite.

The Rock.
Most charismatic wrestler of all time, can make me laugh, can do drama, add suspense etc. He can put on some fantastic matches as well. He's just the complete package. There will never be another Rock.
Chris Jericho is a close 2nd though.
