I just finished reading Snuff by Chuck Palahniuk. As f***ed up as it was, it was equally gripping. Finished all 190 something pages in less than two days. Awesome book ain't it. I'm nearly done with it, and it's actually the first Palahniuk book I've read. Very very awesome. I can't get over how Palahniuk managed to create such a disgusting atmosphere. I feel physically unclean after reading it for extended periods of time.

The Odyssey for one class, The Maltese Falcon for another, John Byrne's The Man of Steel for fun.

I'm going to re re re re re read The Dark Tower after I finish The Wheel of Time. How do you feel about the upcoming sequel by Brandon Sanderson? Optimistic, concerned? I made a thread about this several weeks ago but it was completely no-sold. Right now I'm reading Dune: House Atreides and Plutarch's Lives (currently on Lysander). Honestly I have no idea why the Dune books written by Brian Herbert get so much hate. The Legends of Dune series were decent, and I House Atreides so far has been great. Also I've been listening to The Shining on CD in my car.

Tales of the Dying Earth by Jack Vance, Cugel's Saga to be exact. Can't decide what to start after, it's between two Howard compilations, another Vance series or Watchmen.

Runaway Devil: How Forbidden Love Drove a 12 Year Old to Muder Her Family.
About a triple homocide that occured in my city a dew years back. Her parents balked at her dating a 22 year, sorry 300 year old werewolf...so she and him killed her parents and 8 year old brother.
Charming story.

I just got through reading "Jaw" by Peter Benchley.
I admit that I liked it a little bit better than the movie.
One reason is that it gives a darker personality to the mayor.
Another reason is that there is more than just one conflict that chief Brody is dealing with.
also there is more than just one person that wants Brody to keep quiet about there being a shark loose near amity.
I also like how the book portrays Matt Hooper.
